Quite a bumpy year for cinema. But w/e. Post your favorite films you've seen from this year. A little explanation as to why you liked each movie would be cool. I'm too lazy to write some though, herp.

5. Green Lantern
6. Cars 2

i only have 6 cause i didnt really see many good movies this year

Haven't seen that many movies at all in 2021 but that's what dvds are for I wanna see puss and boots and kevin harts laugh my pain and tower heist.

1.Drive-good movie,killer soundtrack
2. The Help- awesome cast and story.
those are the movies i saw actually made in 2011 all the others were older movies.

I watch a lot of movies so I will only list movies I saw in the theater during 2011 for now considering it is a lot easier to recall since I keep all of my ticket stubs.

Here is my list:

1] X-Men: First Class
2] The Fighter
3] Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II
4] The King's Speech
5] The Descendants
6] The Ides of March
7] The Help
8] Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
9] Mission Impossible 4
10] Crazy, Stupid, Love

I am going to list the rest of the films I saw in theaters during 2011 as well:

11] Contagion
12] Scream 4
13] Midnight in Paris
14] The Hangover 2
14] Limitless
15] Bad Teacher
16] The Tree of Life
17] Insidious

*Later if I can track down some of the 2011 movies I saw on DVD I might update the list.

1-Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes
2-Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2
3-The Eagle
4-Kung Fu Panda 2
5-Hop

I think thats all the films I saw at the cinema. If I recall any others I'll add them on.

1. Drive - Great plot, protagonist, nice action, and an even nicer touch of gore.
2. Limitless - Fantastic concept with excellent cinematography.
3. Margin Call - Best Wall Street movie ever made?
4. Real Steel - I love robots and fighting, but this had a nice plot that combined the two.
5. Bridesmaids - A funny movie made by women?
6. Moneyball - Great sports movie that didn't follow the cliches of a typical sports movie.
7. Super 8 - Our generation's 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind.'
8. Tucker & Dale versus Evil - Interesting twist on the slasher film.
9.Hobo With A Shotgun - Had the grindhouse feel that Grindhouse didn't have, and had great cinematography.
10.Insidious - A horror movie that actually felt like a horror movie.

Honorable Mentions: Girl With A Dragon Tattoo, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Captain America: First Avenger, 50/50, Warrior.

8. Paraniahs 3D (hottest nude scene i ever seen, in 3D. awesome)

10. Scott Pilgum vs The World (don't think this came out last year but an awesome movie)

The next two where a complete waste of my time......But honestly...these are the only movies i've seen released in 2011 ....soo not much to choose from.

^ I still need to see it however I did read the book and it was pretty good.

I was sad Tilda was not nominated at the Oscars because most critics said her performance was really great and from what I've seen online I agree so far.
