| Lanny Poffo appeared on a podcast hosted by Steve Wilton and commented on the possibility of Randy Savage being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. Poffo said he did not hear from WWE after his brother passed away last May and that he has not heard from them regarding enshrinement into the Hall.
Lanny claimed last year during an interview that Randy would have only accepted enshrinement into the WWE Hall of Fame if the Poffo family (Angelo, Lanny and Randy) went in together like the Von Erichs. Randy pulled a similar power play in 1995 as Angelo was inducted into the WCW Hall of Fame as a favor from management. Legendary wrestling announcer Gordon Solie objected to Poffo's induction because he did not consider him to be a notable wrestler. | |

| I think it is kind of sad for a notable wrestler's family to use him as their way to get inducted..
If you are good enough you should not be in it..
Of course now that Randy is dead they'll likely all go in the HOF in a few years and they will accept their induction and his.
I just hope they know that most people will be cheering for their dead brother Randy Savage and NOT them... | |
