How did you get into wrestling?

How did you get into the wrestling world?

I was still in diapers. My father was watching WCW in the early '90s, and I got hooked on Sting. Since then, wrestling has been the air to my lungs.

I was probably in diapers too when I became a fan. I've been damn near obsessed with wrestling for as far back as I can remember (age 3).

I remember VHS tapes of live events and PPVs.

Id seen small clips here and there back in the late 90s, played a couple of wrestling games (on the PS1 cos Im awesome) and had bought a book about some of the stars in Wrestling at the time from WWE and WCW.

I didn't really have much connection to wrestling from the turn of the Millennium. I was unaware of the whole Alliance storyline and the demise of WCW and ECW.

I did buy Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth after I got my PS2 though. That did reinvigorate my interest in wrestling, in early 2006.

Later that year, when at school, my friend introduced me to wwe.com. Well, for a long time I would be checking that site every day, keeping up with everything. I suppose that was when I became a fan, the day after Unforgiven 2006. That was day one of Cena's 13 month WWE Championship reign, I was clouded into thinking all Championship reigns lasted that long, I was disappointed.

I probably wouldn't call myself a fan, more someone with an interest.

then i saw Macho Man and i was sold..

randomly at 8 year old flicking through channels cos I couldn't sleep (parents where in bed so I was being a badass by getting up) and I cam accross the Royal Rumble 2000 match on Channel 4 (before they went to PPV in England) and I remember watching it thinking oh ok, this is funny. I remember being shit scared of Viscera .. and then Chyna this random woman entered and I was hooked from then. That night I had two main loves Chyna and Kane...and up until like 2008 it never changed, that is of course until I became the LaylaLover you all know and love.

What made you a Layla fan (aside from the obvious huge assets)?

I guess the fact that I realized she was brittish (since I didn't properly watch wrestling between like 2002-2007 ... so I didn't have a huge idea about the diva searh...so I only really noticed when I saw her with Regal I think, and had a look up and she was Brittish so I was like. Aw awesome.

Ah, now I understand.
