Get the 'f out

Every since WWE "got the 'f out" it's name and bought out damn never every competitor it has become very PG. What is the reasoning behind this? Was there a major incident that happen that I'm not aware of, or has America become more sensitive as society and believe we should censor everything (That can't be right, look at all the "reality" shows and voilence on TV now)? I remember all the great gemmick matches WWF use to have when I was growing up like First Blood, Buried Alive, I Quiet, Hardcore, Boilerroom Brawl, and others. Now all of them are gone even some the wrestlers gimmicks are gone like Val Vinus and The Godfather. Sure they were a bit inappropriate but we grew up all the same with it there. The close they did to that dagree lately is with Edge "Rated X". They even toned down the trash talking and change the names of PPVs, WTF. I miss the insanity of WWF and other the name change there really was no reason for the change in the programing. Just my opinion, what's yours.

I miss those crazy old days, I miss seeing Hunter Hearst Helmsley getting tombstoned down the escalator, wrestling back then was so unpredictable, and every title seemed important then, and the women were AWESOME!

The biggest reason, was because Linda McMahon ran for Sentate, and having a family friendly product is way better publicity than have one filled with pimps, hoes, and candy for the nose. Linda got attacked for the WWE's product and it definitely affected her credibility as a politician. She wants to run again, and is screwing the guy who owns the WWE, so I wouldn't expect to get f'd anytime soon.

While it may not be completely related, a lot of the more mature audience has been swayed into the emergence of MMA and the UFC. It's hard to get people to care about 'fake' wrestling, with the current saturation of the legitimate combat sport.

Not to mention, sponsorship. The sponsors can be easily turned away if theres pretty much women in their underwear and guys swearing up and down every 5 minutes in their promos. Not to mention, the main demo is kids now...so

Well I think they can get sponsors no matter what the product has. It'd be different sponsors more than likely, but there would still be sponsors.

The main demo is kids, because of the change to PG. It wasn't kids when it was TV-14, although they did garner some kids obviously.

It does not matter how much they try to change the image of wwe, Linda will always be associated with the wwe. And that alone will effect anyone taking her serious. Just like when Brock Lesner tried to break free of the wwe and do mma, everyone just him as a wwe wrestler in ufc. And speaking of mma, that "sport" has changed to. It use to be about different martal arts styles fighting against each other and all the fighters study the same style.

MMA didn't change, the UFC did. There are still style vs. style fights from time to time, since every fighter usually has a strong suit. Although unlike in the past, fighters have to study other areas in order to be successful.

The UFC changed because it had to, otherwise it would most definitely have died. While most organizations in this day and age are sanctioned, those no-holds barred style fights still exist, they just aren't prominent.

Other than when the WWF was losing to WCW back in the day, I don't think WWE has ever been in jeopardy of closing down, like the UFC was without being sanctioned by the athletic commission.

Does anyone else find it funny that Victoria aka Tara got her start in wrestling as a Hoe. She was one of the Godfather's hoes until that hoe stepped out of line and he put her through a table. I guess a hoe can only take so much because later that hoe went crazy and started beating the hell out of all the other chicks in wwe.
