Exclusive: 2012 WWE Draft Expected to Be the "Biggest Ever"

WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is starting to focus on what the WWE
landscape will be after WrestleMania, and he's got his thought process
on the annual draft, WrestleZone has learned exclusively.
"Vince knows he can keep Raw and Smackdown talent on both shows, since
Raw is a Super Show now," a key WWE insider told us, "so in order to
bring up the Smackdown house shows, how could it hurt to have (John)
Cena or (Chris) Jericho on Smackdown, and have them appear on Raw and
shoot the major angles there?"

Vince has noticed that even though the ratings have remained stagnant
on Raw throughout the Rock vs Cena program (and Undertaker vs HHH
program as well), the live events for Monday Night Raw have been selling
out. "The brand split is pretty much over," we were told, "everyone
appears on Monday nights. Vince wants the wealth spread around a little
bit more to improve the bottom line."

They should just drop the draft and unify titles, since the main people will should come out on both shows anyways.

I agree with merging titles like the WWE title and world title coming together.But NOT the us and IC titles.I just wish that it went back to the way things were by having separate rosters,separate titles,separate ppvs.And I wish SD was taken as a more serious brand.And Put John cena on SD they can use the ratings.

It's probably a good idea to have two secondary titles, especially since back in the day, there did used to be a European or Television title. As far as separate PPVs, that'd be a bad idea, as then people would just save their money and buy the PPVs with both shows on them.

Doesn't the draft look stupid if there is no brand split?

Exactly what's the point of having a draft when the smackdown superstars are just gonna show up anyways.OMG JOHN CENA DRAFTED TO SD then be on raw next week...

I've been saying that WWE needs to go back to having one major, minor, women's & tag title.

There just isn't enough contenders to have credible title-holders of each championship.

No one has challenged Cody Rhodes. Swagger and Santino's reigns as US champ are random as hell. There hasn't even been many new contenders for the WWE & WH title.

People want to complain about new guys getting pushed. You don't need to have a title to verify a push.

Just about anyone will appear on SD as well.

I feel like they're holding on to this concept until a fresher, more viable one emerges.
