What People Need to Understand About The Divas And The Division

This right here is my opinion on how I feel about the Divas and the state of the division.
Ok so people need to understand something about this division about the divas,this whole company itself is all about entertaining and wrestling and that's what it's all about.Lets not forget what WWE stands for World Wrestling ENTERTAINMENT.Why do you think women like Torrie,Sable,Stacy,Kelly are more over than Divas like Molly,Jazz,Gail,Michelle.Because they were more of an entertainer than a wrestler.They kept the crowd going and made people think what they were gonna do next.Yes they weren't the best wrestler but there the ones people are gonna Rember in 10 years than the ones like Molly and Michelle who were good wrestlers but won't be Rembered unless people were shown a pic of them.You guys are women wrestling fans so of course your gonna Rember tons of the divas from the past but if you asked a guy who watched wwe but wasnt that big of a diva fan you think he will Rember jazz or jacquline or Gail Kim?.Idk so and why??.Because they weren't great entertainers.They will be Rember for there wrestling but not for they had done when it comes to defining moments in wwe history.If I was to ask a guy or a girl what divas they remembers from the last 10 years then the top answers would be Trish,Lita,Sable,Chyna and from this generation Beth,Kelly,Eve,Kharma and Vickie.Because they have done things that people will Rember.You can have a division with Sara del ray,melissa,Madison eagles but would they entertain you outside of wrestling??

Not only aren't many of the current Divas good wrestlers, they're not the least bit entertaining. Double whammy!

Hell, tbh I wasn't really entertained by the Likes of Torrie, Stacy and Sable *ducks Tank's right hook attempt* Personally, the only thing remotely entertaining about those chicks were the lack of clothing they wore.

I was always a much bigger fan of Victoria, Molly and Trish (once she became a decent wrestler) because they had the curves and skill.

It's the same with the likes of Natalya and Beth: great talents, great on the eyes. I wouldn't call them great entertainers, but they're two female wrestlers that I am interested in following what they do.

i get what you mean but kelly isnt entertaining.

In WWE and in TNA there will always be women that are there because they are good wrestlers and then there are the women that are there because they are marketable. From a business perspective, the companies have to have both sides. Unfortunately, we live in a time when the average wrestling fan isn't interested in women's wrestling for more than the girl-on-girl action.

However, there needs to be a balance. For someone like me, I would rather have more of the wrestlers than of the entertainers. But, one thing that I think you missed here, DL, is that there are women that can be both technical and entertaining. We have had women in both major companies, like Trish, Lita, Angelina Love, Madison Rayne, that can put on a good match but could also entertain the men in the audience without being to....well....seductive.

Although the diva's these days aren't fantastic technicians. I quite honestly feel each diva on the roster with the exception of Rosa can hold down a match that it isn't just a botch fest....I can't remember the last time I saw a diva botch.
