Sooo....was wondering...

Soo i was wondering, why don't some of you post?


I notice that sometimes there are SOOO many people on but they rarely post. You guys need to remember. WE are the ones who keep this place alive, WE are the ones who make the forum the place it is. I know we don't always have time to post like 50 posts, we have busy lives. But it's just such a shame sometimes to have so many people around and 60% of them not posting.

A post a day.....keeps us interested in tomorrow.

and for those who i have a spot in their hart. A Post a Day puts a smile on my face

So....help put a smile on my face lol.

I post on something if I think my input would be beneficial to the topic. Its the main reason why I only post 2-3 times a day normally, rather than the 20-30 I was doing 18 months ago.

So what kind of posts would you like to see? That would make you post more?

Working to a more active Forum is the goal. We should have topics where everyone feels they could post regularly.

A good start is to get the people that post in the divas section and only that section, to post everywhere else.

I post when I have something to say. I'll try to come up with stuff.

Oh I agree, good point. I think some of the gamers as well. I mean we don't eat people.....or well the live ones anyways.

Well yeah, encouraging people who post only in one or two sections to post elsewhere would be a start.

For me, its topics with the potential for debate that I post in. I don't post in all of them. If someone else has already covered my points I won't post. If its nto a topic I know much about, I may offer an opinion or not. And if I just don't care about a topic I won't post.

Thats just me though. I'm probably a minority of people who takes that view.

Well this is a Women of Wrestling forum so of course it's going to be the main attraction for a lot of members.I feel like this whole place is just a little too crowded and just a little too girlyish.And the name of this place is confusing is This place WD(Wrestling Disscussion)Or Diva Knockout Forum.This place makes it look so unattractive for the male viewers who come on here.I feel like what I have to say here doesn't mean a thing here anymore without being rudely correct or not taken in too any consideration.Like this layout its basically like this "Ok so this our new layout so which purple one should it be because its going to be purple no matter what anyone here says so deal with it".We also need a spring clean up and get rid of a lot sections that people don't use.It make this forum a little mix that everyone could love to be here for.Have a debate section,tournament section,etc.We the people should be able to come here and feel free to post what we want and not have any problems with it.

No, no debate section. We had one of those one time, it went straight to hell. Also, you can do tournaments in the appropriate boards for whatever. Also, no, dont get rid of any sections that arent 100% active because then the ppl that dont wanna post in divas or wrestling are forced to.

And i gave you my opinion based on a failed experience. Also, we kinda have a debate forum..its called The Debate Lounge but its mainly used for news

I think if members stopped acting childish and let go of their dumb feuds with other members, then we'd have more people posting, it seems like members avoid posting in topics because they dislike the O/P, and sometimes when they do post in them, it's just to insult the creator and usually has nothing to do with the topic.I see that happening a lot here.

I completely agree with you kev, this is always dead. I always try to come up with interesting topics to start a decusion but only the same three people will respond. and I even try making topics in different catagories and still nothing. I try posting in an active threads but when I do the thread goes dead, WTF. Is it me? This is why I really don't sign on as much. It seems pointless for me to post on here. It seem like people only follow certain people as if this was Twitter.

@ DL: Yeah, you're one that instigates a lot of it too. For example, you'll bash someones fav wrestler in one thread, someone will bash your favorite in another, you get pissed and attack that member, then call for something to be done to the member that came after you. Please, dont play a victim when it comes to that stuff.

@Angel: Thats because theres been a LOT of personal threads that have been posted lately. Not everyone wants to put their business out there, this isnt the place to do that, unless you're blogging and you need to get stuff off your chest.

I'm not only talking about this section but for the most part of the forum it's dead, we dont even have knockouts discussion threads or Divas Raw or Smackdown discussion threads anymore. I usually go through them to see what's going in on in wrestling now i gotta actually search.

actually, i say what i say and then i move on with my life, i dont stick around to continue an argument with anyone and its been that way for about...the past 6 months or so? not to mention ive even done a divas only podcast so make sure you go and listen to it cause there wasnt a lot of negativity in that.

You see that's the problem if you "say what you want to say" then leave it all depends on what you say is what the problem is.Lets say I wrote a Kelly topic about a rumor of her getting a second title run and then you say "Kelly's an untalented pee sinker blah blah" it just takes 1 person to start the trend and it turns into the trending topic "Kelly the piss sinker" instead of talking about the rumor second title run.

I never created a topic that asked people to put their personal business out there, all I ask for is their opinion. Isn't that what makes a discussion, everyone voicing their opinion? I do post topics in other areas of the forum, like the thread I asked people to share their favorite moments in wrestling. That was a opportunity for us to reminisce about wrestling and talk to each other about it. but it just became another thread full of list and died off.

This is exactly why a debate forum never works out lol. Not many people on here can back off and admit they were wrong or that they can at the very slightest SEE THE OTHER PERSPECTIVE the person brings. They will argue the issue to death just to "win"

Several have already covered what I was going to say. Arguments. I'm not someone that likes to argue, I hate it, but it seem's that's all the happens when I post in something. I don't know how I ended up on a lot of people's hate sides, but I did. So I just stay low, read the news, and carry on with my day like nothing happened. If I knew fighting wasn't going to arise I would be perfectly fine posting more, but it just doesn't seem to be that way. Welp, that's the end of my first post in like what, 3 months? Ha.

I don't think arguments are the problem. Some conflict is good.

It's all the complaining that doesn't help anything, and threads like this aren't helping. If I wanted to see a bunch of complainers, I'd stick to FB.

I think I've found another reason for not posting much. Everyone posts when I'm normally asleep. I've been awake all night (its 10 past 7 in the morning here) and the forum has been more active than when I'm awake.

Same as me, I usually just catch up. The problem is, we used to have a weekly raw discussion, i would come on to see pages just from one week. Now..Not even recognition.

Yeah, the time difference means that at midnight for us, those in the States are just getting logged on. I mean, its around midday for us and we're the only two online at the moment.

I agree with this premise. I'll refer to my IRL situation. For years, I would keep to myself, avoid conflict, sometimes changes my schedule to help someone out with something. Until, I finally said to myself, no more putting off something I want and/or need to accommodate others. I've been the happiest I've been in years because I'm putting my needs first. Getting my mind right, getting in shape.

The point is that once you learn to value yourself, the happier you'll be.

@Vixen: some of the cliches out there are actually true, it's crazy. Love yourself. No one is more important than you. People will come and leave your life, but you're stuck with yourself for all of your days on this planet. If you can't learn to be happy with yourself, you'll be miserable forever.
