Indy girls YOU were shocked to see signed on WWE or TNA

Which girls were you shocked to see signed to a contract in WWE/TNA/WCW etc.

I admit that I never followed the indies until I joined forums. So looking at old pics of Jillian Hall, I'm so shocked she got signed to WWE. I mean WWE always hired good looking girls and Nicole Bass The point is Jillian was not cute back then so to see her now in WWE is great.


Of course there is Awesome Kong, she is overweight so to see TNA give her a shot and actually push her as a monster was wonderful to see. THANK GOD! she chose TNA over WWE. Imagine her jobbing to the models? I cringe


Then there is Velvet Sky, she used to suck and has finally got to the decent level after what 10 years? Ouch! The point is TNA is all about the wrestling so why hire someone like Velvet? I don't know why but it all worked out because she is in a awesome gimmick and she brings in the ratings alongside Angel.

ODB is another one.... the chick is ugly seriously lol and TNA took a risk signing her and it payed off. I love her though, she is a riot so I commend TNA for making bold choices.

Then there were those that got signed and have not been pushed to the sky. For instance Trinity was bad-ass in TNA and should make a return stat. But in WWE they completely treated her like shit. She could have and was willing to do anything to make herself stand out. Get hit with a chair? Moonsault over a cage? The chick was fearless. She was in WWE when Trish and Lita already retired. WWE could have pushed Trinity to the top. She could have brought attention to womens wrestling. I heard she wanted to be lit on fire before. Thats awesome shit! I pray TNA stop being asses and hire Trinity. She can do some awesome stuff against Kong.

and ODB the only wwe diva search contestant/tough enough contestant...to go straight to TNA over WWE that she should get props for...and blue she is not THAT ugly.....have u seen what TNA are classing Jacquelone as....a manager and occasional wrestler..i guess this is her slow decent into retirement

I know Bertha Faye was in WWE in the early 90's but that was a time when they gave a shit about womens pro wrestling.

i still cant believe TNA hasnt gotten MsChif and Del Rey.

Tell me about it! Although I heard that Mschif doesn't want to join either promotion. Of course if the money is right, She may sign with TNA most likely.

Del Rey is another one im getting to know a lil better. But isn't she contracted with ROH?

I heard Mercedes Martinez WHOM I LOVE!!!! Had a try out a few months ago and still no signs of her joining TNA. I really think she can be great with LAX.

Well this is NOT shocking because she has a great look but seeing Sarah Stock in TNA gives me hope for a kickass knockouts division in the coming weeks… TNA is really pulling all the stops I tell ya!

i was more shocked when she was released shortly after so we never got a reason behind the attack or an idea what WWE would've done with her.

yeah i had seen her indy work then suddenly she was on SD..i was surprised..too bad she didnt stay.

I wasn't really surprised by any of TNA's hirings. It was clear from the get go that they were more interested in women wrestlers than pretty girls pretending to be wrestlers.

I was surprised that WWE called up Trinity. I would've been surprised had Mickie been called up with her indy look. I knew WWE would never go for her and then she went under WWE's miraculous makeover (including boob job) and she then got called up to development and later to the main roster. Jillian is another I was surprised made it past development. Cherry also didn't have the WWE look and neither did Michelle so I was surprised that she was even asked back after the DS.
