Tara to do ‘Penthouse’ Magazine!

Would you really expect Tara to do a nude spread, though, at least the kind of thing Penthouse does? I'd have been shocked if she actually did. There's a stigma attached to wrestlers doing that, now. In 2008, even Kelly Kelly turned down Playboy, which was funny considering her whole gimmick was being an exibitionist.

It was 2003 when she said that, though. A lot changes in a decade. She wasn't doing charity work, visiting schools, working with kids, etc, then. She tries to be a role model for young girls, these days.

The stigma wasn't quite there, yet, in 2003, either. Now, women wrestlers think it damages the credibility of not only themselves, but other women wrestlers, to the point where even Kelly, in 2008, said she wouldn't do it on that basis. This wasn't even 2011 Divas Champion and full time wrestler Kelly, but the Extreme Expose 2008 one. Mickie James is so deeply ashamed of certain old photos that she's continually denied their existence since she rose to the top of the business.

And these days, any woman wrestler who does anything like Penthouse is going to be compared to Chyna. It's unfair, but you know the mainstream media would. Nobody wants to be compared to or identified with Chyna. Chyna ruined getting naked for everybody.

Now, the only nude shots any of them are likely to do is some sort of artsy thing like the ESPN Body Issue, or that artsy coffee table book that Stacy was in.

Any exposure is good exposure, in my book. so what if it's just an interview..it's something rather than nothing
