According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has extended Rey Mysterio's contract for the length of time he's been out, which has been since last August with a knee injury.
The contract has been lengthened to his expected return. This will end up being roughly 10 or 11 months added to the end of his deal.

| I'm a huge fan of Rey's, so I'm glad that they aren't just going to dump him like they would others. Of course, he needs to get some stuff straightened out (violating the Wellness Policy, etc). | |

I agree.
I don't dislike him nearly as much as some people on here.
He usually has good matches so I don't mind him having his contract extended.
This should be his last run though.
Hopefully he can end it on a high note. | |
