The roster for WWE '12 was fairly large. The problem is many of the superstars in the game are huge POS.

I am not ordering this one when it comes out. The online system for 12 sucked monkey balls........like BAD. I'm going to wait until January or so to see how the reviews of the online system are working before I consider it. This may be the first one I sit out.

As for the roster, THQ is touting the "biggest roster" ever in a WWE game. So far, confirmed players include: Steve Austin, The Undertaker, CM Punk, Sheamus, Mankind, Big Show, Mark Henry and Chris Jericho. The THQ website says the game will feature 77 playable characters - 38 Superstars, 7 Divas and 32 Attitude Era Legends.

What's sad, and I say this about most games nowadays.. they tout this being the "biggest roster yet".. but we can go back WWE Raw 2: Ruthless Aggression where they had 80 total superstars on the roster..

I just a wonder why most video games that went from past-gen to current-gen have pretty much taken three steps backwards. They always use the "disc space" issue.. well, I'm more worried about gameplay then I am about graphics. While graphics are important, I'm only going to play a game for a couple of weeks if the gameplay sucks.

Agreed. 7 divas is horrible however the supposed list of the roster has a decent choice for 7 current [or used to be current since the Bellas are gone] divas and three former divas in Trish, Stephanie, AND Lita!!! king

I may forgive them for having less divas at the start if they automatically give us Trish and Lita [and Kharma/Beth].

I would hope like last year that they would add around 4-6 more divas through DLC.

I know Layla was injured but you would think they would know she would be a big deal on her return..

No Natalya and AJ [who should for sure be in this year's game] sucks but like I said they should add at least 5 divas in a DLC set and they should be: Layla, Natalya, AJ, Tamina, Kaitlyn and Maxine.

Vickie shouldn't even count however she should be a manager. It would be nice if they had Rosa like that as well..

I'd be all for more Divas if they were from the A.E. (or post A.E.)

I care more about quality than quantity. Again, in WWE '12 there were way too many POS in the game. So, if we get decent names from present and past, I'm good.

Yeah I wish we could get Chyna, Ivory, Jacqueline, and Molly Holly.

Obviously there is no way to get Chyna but the other three could happen and would be really nice to see.

I could very well see Sable added since Brock is in the game and she was a big name diva of the Attitude Era.

Same goes for Torrie Wilson although I don't want her in the game over any other diva really.

I am well aware of that....But I like the online modes and as a consumer of their product, I have the option to not purchase the product because of any reason I chose. But thanks for your every useful enlightenment.

@Scott: though, I'm not an online gamer, I have to agree. The server is terrible for WWE '12. It's always a struggle to look through created content.

I own a PS3, but I've read comments online about the server being just as bad for the X-Box.

The community creations for '12 is the absolute worst online mode I have ever seen for any PS3 game. The last time I checked which was a couple of months after they released their big fix to remedy all of the problems, I only had like 600 or 800 creations to look at. Obviously, I wasn't able to look at all of the uploads, so I just got fed up and quit.

Why don't they do just a separate Attitude Era only game? It would make more sense. I've given up on these games tbh though. They get repetitive and DLC is silly to me.

No need in doing that. Each year has it's own theme. From revamped gameplay (usually not very noticeable,) to tag team wrestling, to ECW, to WCW, now the Attitude Era.

I am super happy and surprised there are two Litas!!

I wonder why they didn't give Trish a modern character all they really had to do was release her model from last year. :-/

The roster is okay I guess; it is missing a lot of current guys like Ryback, Cesaro, Tensai, Kidd, McIntyre, etc

Not Happy that Kelly Kelly Once again does not have a new entrance.Butt she looks good wearing her NOC attire.I do like the attitude roster but why does Road Warriors and vadar and Kevin Nash have to be in it?.I guess the reason why Bret hart is in because of the Montreal screw job thing.
