A planned Knockouts segment was reportedly scrapped from last night’s live episode of Impact Wrestling, according to PWInsider.
The website reports that “a segment involving the Knockouts that was removed from last night’s TV, which explains why Mickie James and Tara were brought in and not used.”
Last night’s episode of Impact was highly touted as it was the first in a summer run of live shows, and marked the show’s move to 8pm.
The episode saw the debut of Brooke Hogan, the new executive of the Knockouts division.
