- Go Fight Live announced roughly 15-minutes before the event that the Internet speed at the venue is limited. That meant that they would not be broadcasting to Mobile and Roku Devices, just through computer for the night.
- GEKIDO took out Fire Ant during the U-Stream pre-show, and he was sent to the hospital. He was announced as out of the 10-manmain event.
MATCH 1: Ultramantis Black vs. Ophidian: Ophidian debuted a new mask and gear. Ultramantis Black survived mist being spit into his eyes, and defeated Ophidian via pin with the praying mantis bomb.
MATCH 2: Loser of the Fall Leaves CHIKARA – Mixed Martial Archie and Colt Cabana vs. Mr. Touchdown and Dasher Hatfield: At one point, Mixed Martial Archie was taken out of the match due to a spinebuster on the stage, leaving Cabana to face the Throwbacks alone. Mr. Touchdown had knocked Dasher Hatfield to the floor at one point and celebrated while Cabana was down on the floor. But then, MARCHING ARCHIE'S music hit and the leader of the ban returned in his former persona. He ran wild, and Veronica then appeared to distract him. Veronica eventually placed the baton in the ring between Archie and Touchdown, but Hatfield took it away. Touchdown then hit Arche with the helmet, and Hatfield pinned Archie, but never saw what happened. The Throwbacks now have three points and can challenge for the Campeonatos de Parejas, and Archie's now gone from CHIKARA. Veronica made out with Touchdown after the match.
The promotion had some early sound issues on the iPPV, basically volume too low for crowd an commentary, but they were quickly fixed.
MATCH 3: Ladder Match: Icarus vs. Gran Akuma: If Akuma wins the match, he gets a full time roster spot back with CHIKARA. If Icarus wins, Akuma is gone. After Akuma hit a giant frog splash off of the ladder, Gargano and Taylor hit thering and tossed referee Greg Iron. They set up a table and laid Akuma on it, allowing Icarus to climb but Greg iron fought back with a chain and chased them off. Akuma recovered, climbed the ladder and powerbombed Icarus through the table. Akuma then was able to climb the ladder and get the contract to win the match and earn his roster spot back.
MATCH 4: Sara Del Rey and Saturyne vs. The Batiri (Kobald, Kodama & Obariyon): During the match, following Del Rey cannon balling to the floor and a cool dive by Saturyne, Delirious made his way out to the ring. He briefly spoke with Kodama & Obariyon, and after they looked to leave, they stayed at ringside. Kodama & Obariyon would then run wild on Saturyne for a bit after the talk. Delirious would get involved and tree slam Saturyne, and then he ran wild on both Saturyne and Del Rey, and we got a DQ finish. Saturyne and Del Rey won via DQ. Delirious then kissed the foreheads of the Batiri, almost blessing then, and then they left with him.
~Intermission~
MATCH 5: Mask vs. Hair: Hallowicked vs. Tim Donst: Hallowicked and Donst are both former Young Lion Cup champions. Hallowicked the first, and Donst the, "self proclaimed best YLC Champion of all time". Hallowicked brought the mask that he wore a few weeks ago to the ring. Donst had tried to rip it off of him, which escalated the feud. Donst pulled the referee into the way on a Hallowicked knee, and the ref was down. Hallowicked locked in the CHIKARA special, and Donst tapped out, but since the ref was down, the match continued. Donst would get a chair, and Hallowicked threatened to smash Donst's Young Lions Cup. Hallowicked would yakuza kick the chair into his face, but it was only a near fall due to the referee still recovering. Donst would low blow Hallowicked, and then choke out Hallowicked with the hidden shoelace (a staple trick Donst uses). Donst choked out Hallowicked, and the ref checked the arm of Hallowicked, and the arm dropped three times, allowing Donst to win. Just as Hallowicked was unlacing his mask, Donst celebrated and the illegal shoelace was exposed! The match was restarted, and Hallowicked kicked Donst in the face and locked in one of Donst's own submission holds and made him tap. Hallowicked started the haircut with scissors, and then he used the clippers as the crowd chanted SUPER CUTS. Donst then got his own Young Lions Cupback, but threw it down and spit on it.
MATCH 6: The Colony (Soldier Ant, Fire Ant and Green Ant), Eddie Kingston, and Jigsaw vs. GEKIDO (The Swarm {deviANT, combatANT & assailANT}, 17, and The Shard): They confirm that Fire Ant was taken out on the pre-show with a broken leg, following an attack by GEKIDO. MIKE QUACKENBUSH returns from injury and replaces Fire Ant in the match. Tons of back and forth action, with the crowd loving Quackenbush returning. He and Jigsaw worked well together as expected, and Eddie Kingston had great moments tossing people around with ease. As the faces battled back, Green Ant hit a big dive from the balcony onto everyone but Jigsaw, which was in the ring. They did numerous teases of removing masks, which is something GEKIDO has been doing through out their run. The faces also busted out a MEGA FIVE MAN Ant Hill. Soldier Ant locked in the CHIKARA special on 17 and scored the victory for the faces. Crowd loved the match.
MATCH 7: Campeonatos de Parejas on the Line: FIST (Gargano and Taylor) © vs. The Young Bucks (Two out of Three Falls): The Campeonatos de Parejas got the main event spot on the show. The Bucks got the first fall with a roll up on Chuck Taylor. Taylor got a roll up on Matt Jackson, held the tights and won the second fall. The crowd is split, as Taylor and Gargano are heels, but the Buck are treated as outsiders trying to take the titles out of CHIKARA. They are mostly behind Taylor and Gargano, but the heat isn't the same as the 10-man. Third fall really picked up, with then rally getting into another gear, more near falls and some very cool spots. One of which was one of the Jackson's hitting a springboard DDT onto Gargano on the ring apron. The champions were able to escape more bang for your buck, but the Bucks were able to survive double teams the "Hurts, Don't It." Matt Jackson used one of the title belts behind the ref's back for a near fall on Taylor after Gargano was taken out on the floor. The Bucks kept control, and hit a double team spike tombstone, but Gargano made the comeback to stop the pin. More bang for your buck connected on Gargano and we have NEW Campeonatos de Parejas.
On commentary they teased that the Young Bucks were taking the titles out of CHIKARA.
We got a video, with sad piano music and Marching Archie walking by the Rocky statue.
Tommy Dreamer announces he will be a part of King of Trios, and will team with Jerry Lynn and 2 Cold Scorpio.
Outside of the low sound at the beginning, and the fact that I couldn't watch via ROKU box, I will say that the iPPV feed was basically flawless as I did not have one problem.
