| Okay, say same-sex couples recieve the right to marry...Should they be granted the right to divorce?
We know marriage is fucked up enough with the introduction of divorce law, but should same-sexes; who have been lobbying and fighting so much be entitled to this right? If they want marriage so bad, they marry someone then decide to call it quits, what is the point in the marriage laws in the beginning?

| Just like heterosexual couples who marry and can divorce as they choose same sex couples want the exact treatment under the law and they should get it.

| Absolutely they should have the right to divorce, just as they should have the right to marry. If "X" doesn't like it, they don't need to talk to them, they don't need to associate with them.
They shouldn't need to lobby for the ability to get married. It should be legal. If two people love another, they should be able to get married, as long as they are above the age limit. | |

| I think the "right to divorce" is covered in the whole marriage equality package...
But anyway, everyone deserves the opportunity to climb out of a sour situation. I'm sure there are heterosexual couples who had to overcome obstacles to finally get married only to have it end in divorce. Shit happens no matter who you love. | |
