- Former WWE announcer Jack Korpela issued a survey to his Twitter followers asking which current WWE or TNA Wrestling Superstar has the most potential to be a major "crossover" star. When a person named CM Punk, he responded, "CM Punk has the in ring talent and great mic skills. Could use a few more pounds of muscle though."
Another person vouched for Punk's potential. Korpela reiterated, "He's damn good. Needs to improve physique though. Hogan, Rock, Austin all looked the part."
When a person named Dolph Ziggler, Korpela said his height works against him. He wrote, "Is an amazing talent. Great physique, charisma and mic skills. Only thing working against him is he isn't tall." However, he then clarified, "Ziggler has it all and he CAN make it. All I'm saying is it's harder for the smaller guys to get over." | |

| I kind of agree with him.
I know some older wrestling fans (talking 40s+) who see CM Punk and previously Daniel Bryan as the Champions and they were like, is this a joke? Look how small they are.
People who've spent 15+ years watching wrestling are use to seeing people like Backlund, Hogan, Andre, Savage, Warrior, Austin, Rock, Taker etc etc. They see these guys that those guys would toss around the ring without a problem and they lose respect for the sport. | |

| ^ Yeah I don't see him changing now or anyone in WWE pressuring him to do so however it wouldn't be the worst thing should he work out more.
Jericho looked a lot better this recent run physically at least since he was in better shape.
It wouldn't hurt anyone to get in better shape however it is hard work to do that.
As for Ziggler I don't care if he is shorter than the average main eventer he's still my favorite [with Cody]. | |
