| Subject: June 18th, 2012 Raw Rating Sees WM Level Bump! Tue 19 Jun 2012, 10:46 pm | |

WWE Raw on Monday, June 18 scored a 3.42 rating, the highest since a 3.43 rating the night after WrestleMania 28. It was essentially even with the regular two hours for last week's three-hour Raw.
- Raw averaged 4.96 million viewers, which was nearly identical to last week's standard two hours when Raw surged for the Vince McMahon three-hour Raw.
Raw averaged 4.85 million first hour viewers (vs. 4.88 million last week), then increased to an average of 5.07 million second hour viewers (vs. 5.08 million last week).
- The surge can be attributed to the younger and older male audience. Raw's m12-17 demo rating hit its highest point this year and was nearly even with the same week year. Raw's males 18-49 and males 12-34 demos were the highest since the night after WM28.
- On cable TV Monday night, Raw ranked #2 in overall viewers behind "Pawn Stars" on History Channel. Raw was #1 in all key male demos.
Caldwell's Analysis: Apparently after all of those weeks and months of Laurinaitis in-charge, the audience was geared up for his send-off, plus John Cena was back in the spotlight as part of the blow-off to the angle. The older male audience could be explained by Triple H's return to begin setting up a Summerslam angle with Brock Lesnar. Plus, no major sports competition certainly helped for the second consecutive week.
