It looks as though Kharma may be gone from WWE.

After WWE’s official Twitter account moved Kharma’s profile to its ‘Alumni’ list along with a multitude of former WWE stars, including the Bella Twins, speculation began to grow on the social networking site.

Responding via Twitter, the former Awesome Kong wrote: “Getting a flood of dm’s. I guess the cat’s out of the bag.”

“Yes. I have been officially promoted to the alumni section of the WWE roster.”

Kharma, real name Kia Stevens, joined WWE in December 2010 and debuted in May of last year. Kharma announced her pregnancy in June 2011 marking a long absence from TV. After sadly announcing she had lost the baby, Kharma made a surprise appearance in January’s Royal Rumble match but a full-time return had yet to be penciled in.

While Kharma’s tweets seem to suggest she may be gone from WWE, the star has been known to playfully joke around with fans — including teasing her return on occasion. Could it be a simple case of classic Kharma trickery feeding into the WWE Twitter listing her under its ‘Alumni’? The wording of her tweet, ‘promoted to…’, could suggest so. And of course, anyone who has used Twitter knows how easy it is to mistakenly tweet/list/retweet something. At this time, there’s no confirmation of her status.

UPDATE: Kharma has been moved back to the "Superstars" section of the WWE roster. It appears that someone in charge of the website accidentally made the move of her page to the alumni section, and her comment on Twitter was a joke in relation to it.

- Amidst rumors that WWE released Kharma after their official Twitter feed moved her profile to its list of Alumni on Thursday, TMZ.com reporter Ryan Satin says she has been let go by the sports entertainment organization.

He wrote on Twitter Thursday evening, "A source close to Kharma tells me the rumors are true and she was indeed released from WWE today. Dumbest WWE release in SOOO LONG!!!"

Wrestling Observer editor Dave Meltzer addressed Satin's claim on the F4WOnline.com message forum and stated that WWE had planned to finalize her termination on Friday. However, he speculates the organization may switch course due to the news prematurely surfacing online—similarly to how they briefly reinstated Florida Championship Wrestling tapings in March to save face after news leaked prematurely that they were ending and because they weren't ready to announce the changes to NXT.

"I don't want to say anything, because it's WWE and they change their minds if stuff gets out," he wrote. "But she was to be released tomorrow, and they're pissed somebody screwed up and it got out a day early."

Kharma is currently listed as a member of the active roster on WWE.com, but as a former Superstar on the organization's Twitter account.

WWE is stupid if they let her go, but this was already figured out when they released Melina, Mickie, etc. They don't care about their women wrestlers, they only care about the models. Such a shame. Won't surprise me if Natalya and Beth are out the door next

If she is Really gone from the WWE then this was actually a good move.Lets face it there's No one on the Roster who can Really go toe to toe with kharma.People say Beth and Natalya but them two have been made into a joke several times.Beth lost to Maria menudos several times even when she was Divas Champ and Natalya was know for farting around backstage and Is the heel jobber at the moment.Do you people really wanna see a Kharma vs Layla match? Or a An Kharma vs AJ? Or Eve? Or even Kelly Kelly?.She will squash them like a bug.But I highly doubt this is true.

I don't know why they are moving her profile around again yet not saying one way or another that she is officially fired.

Her return has been one of the most talked about and speculated things to happen to WWE in a long time. It would be VERY dumb of them to have released her without coming back.

As for who could put on a good show with her, Beth and Natalya could very easily put on a solid match with her. Have they taken some needless losses over the last couple of years, absolutely. Kharma is good enough to be able to carry a good match with both Layla and AJ. I think AJ would be better suited with her ability pull of a lot of high flying moves.

Just Something to consider but maybe Khrama is done with Wrestling and gonna move on with her life.

This might be a case where WWE granted her a release because she wants out.

I didn't like her in Japan or anywhere really thought she was the overhyped female version of the big show or kane.

You don't think Layla, AJ, & Eve are as credible as CHRISTY F'N HEMME? I figure if Christy can beat you, Layla certainly can. smile

Has anyone considered the possibility that Kharma's priorities in life have changed? Think about the last 14 months... She was pregnant, lost the baby, & has since gotten married. She may no longer have the desire to work a full time WWE schedule. Remember, she talked about starting a support organization for women who have suffered miscarriages.

A full time wrestling schedule takes it's toll, & we've seen the broken marriages to prove it. Notice that Jazz doesn't wrestle full time, and hasn't, for years. Mainly, her life is raising her family, her wrestling school, her gym, & she works the occasional match every few months. But, you can't do that if you're a regular part of a televised promotion's roster.

The only reason why Christy defeated Kharma was because of AJ styles who helped her.Christy could not beat Kharma by herself.

No, AJ Styles didn't interfere for Christy. The only interference was rescuing Kong. That was just TNA booking, the sort of thing the IWC condemns WWE for with the Divas but gives TNA a free pass with the Knockouts.

- Following Kharma's apparent departure from WWE last week, she tweeted the following update on Sunday: "Thank you to all of the offers pouring in. However, I am not taking bookings at this time. smile

."

She also retweeted fan messages reading "I hope @Kharma only stays in the ‪#WWEAluimi‬ until she returns and beats the crap out of barbie doll divas" and "We do not know what all happened. I wish @Kharma peace."

It seems her tweets are leaning towards that but you never know.

If she doesn't appear at the 1,000th Raw and is still not officially released then I would expect her to be revealed as so the next day or so..
