Mickie James Heading to UK in September to Face Kay Lee Ray

TNA Knockout Mickie James is heading to the UK in September to compete for Pro Wrestling Elite.

The company announced yesterday that James will be part of the company’s double header in Ayr, Scotland on September 15th and 16th.

James will face Pro-Wrestling: EVE standout Kay Lee Ray.

The young Scottish wrestler has caught the attention of British wrestling fans over the past year. In February, Ray reached the finals of EVE’s Queen of the Ring tournament as part of the company’s first Internet pay per view, No Man’s Land. Despite losing ultimately losing to Nikki Storm in the finals, Ray impressed against in bouts against April Davids and Carmel Jacob.

Kay Lee Ray is one of the most talented new comers I've seen in a VERY long time. She is A-MA-ZING! I just really hope that Mickie puts her over like Katie Lea did with Nikki Storm yesterday at the Pro Wrestling: EVE show. A victory over Mickie James would do wonders for KLR's young career.
