As we noted in our spoiler report from yesterday, WWE taped a match for the debut edition of Saturday Morning Slam prior to last night's Smackdown taping.

During the bout, which will not air until August 25th, which is the Saturday after SummerSlam, Santino Marella came out to do commentary and had the US Title with him.

This could be an indication that Santino will retain his title at SummerSlam, although it is possible WWE could edit the Slam broadcast so that you do not see Marella with the title should he lose this Sunday at the PPV.
