BFG 2012 Knockout Match[es] Thread Tara vs Tessmacher is Now Official!

The intense feud between former best friends Brooke Tessmacher and Tara will culminate at the biggest TNA event on the calendar, Bound for Glory, next month.

Following a friendly Knockouts Title match earlier this month at No Surrender where Brooke, the student, finally beat her tag team partner and mentor in one-on-one action, fans saw an attitude change in Tara who attacked the Knockouts Champion on the following episode of Impact.

Tara, citing a new Hollywood boyfriend who has made her realize her true value as the best female in TNA’s Knockouts division, has rubbed many Knockouts the wrong way in recent weeks including Tessmacher, ring announcer Christy Hemme, and Knockouts Executive, Brooke Hogan.

Tara defeated ODB on Impact last night to earn the right to another title match at BFG. However, the bigger story will be how far these former allies will go to defeat the other after turning on each other.

Bound for Glory will air Sunday, October 14th on pay per view.

So Bound For Glory 8 is only 4 more impacts away on October 14th and the knockouts are pretty much guaranteed 1 or more matches on the card.

Judging by Tara's heel turn it seems she is continuing her feud with Miss Tessmacher over the Knockouts Title. But will she be Tessmacher's only challenger?

The previous four years of BFG KO Title matches have always been Triple Threat or Fatal 4 Way title matches. Additionally the last two years [2010 2011] saw the KOs title defended in Fatal 4 Ways that had a special guest referee.

2011 was KO Champ Winter defending against eventual winner Velvet Sky, Madison Rayne, and Mickie James and the special ref was Karen Jarrett.

The prior year, 2010, saw KO Champ Angelina Love unsuccessfully defend her belt against eventual winner Tara, Madison Rayne, and Velvet Sky. Mickie James was the newest KO at the time and the special referee.

So if recent history has anything to do with it Tara is going to be joined by at least 1, 2, or more challengers to Tessmacher's KO's Title.

A singles match for the KO title at TNA's biggest PPV has yet to happen do you think it will this year and do you want it to this year or not?

If it really does stay Tara v Tessmacher for the KO Title that would leave a lot of women off the card. Do you think they will use the left over women to feud over the never seen Knockouts Tag Team Titles?

BTW the KO Tag Titles have only been defended at BFG one time and that was in their first year of existence: 2009 [it was a 3 minute match mind you...].. Suspect

It wouldn't leave a lot of women off the card because there's not many women there, now. If Gail & Madison challenge ODB & the dude holding a women's title while Tara faces Tess, that'll be the entire active Knockouts roster, since Tiffany will be the ref and Christy & Brooke Hogan aren't wrestlers.

Sad but true but Mickie should do something imo.

I would say that would allow putting Gail & ODB in the title match, but I can't see the current TNA having two KO matches on the card. They'd probably dump the title match in favor of Hulk's little girl.

maybe instead they could have Brooke pick a Knockout to represent her - Mickie perhaps? not that another Mickie vs Madison match would be something to get excited about -_-
she could pick Taeler Hendrix in order to give her a proper introduction to the division

i guess Madison and Gail vs ODB and Eric Young for the Tag Team titles is the most obvious choice with Brooke as the special referee maybe? the problem is that we've seen pretty much the majority of combinations the current Knockouts can give. they need some new blood pretty soon

So it looks like history has been made and it will be a 1 on 1 match for the KO title at BFG: KO Champion Miss Tessmacher defending against her mentor and former BFF Tara.

So what does everyone think of this match?

Does anyone think the match will be changed before BFG in any way and or do you think another match involving the women will take place [KO Tag Titles]?

why should it be changed? this fued is about these two knockouts.

I didn't say it should be changed I asked if people though it should or would be.

Aries v Hardy was suppose to be 1 on 1, and it still may be, I just think they are going to add Bully Ray into it so if that happens it shows that TNA could change stuff even if it seems like a 1 on 1 match is happening for sure.

But thats different, thats about the title. Tara v Tess is about student v teacher, adding someone else just wouldn't fit with that storyline.
