around september!! nooo they are killing our soaps..

i watched passion from the begining too. i stopped when they got all the recasts. i remember watching another world and port charles as well. they seem to kill off the best soaps. i still wish gl was on.

they could've been killed off B&B...it died the day they got rid of the hott Rick Forrestor for the lame recast..and then the current "Rick" is even worse.

My Mom used to watch Another World. I was too little to remember any of it. Sometimes when I'm home on weekdays I forget GL is gone and tune in at its old time.

another world was awesome. like an old school version of as the world turns. that game show seems so odd in its spot. i hate it.

omg that would be shitty if they got rid of that show. its like a cbs daytime icon.

we have Dr. Phil and then Oprah neither of which i care for.

also there's Judge Mathis on Fox during that timeslot now, but it just feels weird switching from ATWT right to Mathis. i usually curl up in my bed anticipating what will happen next with Reva Shayne and Jonathan Randall..

it feels weird not being able to see them.

I'm pissed too Lauren, BOTH of them let go in a blink of an eye! I really wanted Rachel with Schuyler and Kimmy was just to awesome to leave in the first place, however I actually read that they offered her a contract but she declined to do pilot season. What is it about PILOT SEASON? 9/10 the shows don't even get picked up by any networks and then you're eventually back at square one.

Anyone want David and Greenlee to really fall in love?
I surely hope that the writers go the UNPREDICTABLE route and have Greenlee fall madly in love with David instead of the eventual Rylee reunion ::puke:: Greens is so much more interesting with David and I love the chemistry, Ryan is just annoying Honestly? I rather we have a Greenlee, David, Erika triangle without Ryan.

AMC? Better without Zendall?
I certainly think so, the stories are alot more interesting and basically everyone gets screen time I can do without Rylee but for the most part I really am enjoying AMC again.

Guiding Light Vet Marcy Rylan Joins Y&R

Heads continue to roll at The Young and the Restless. Yesterday it was announced that the CBS soap had fired Vail Bloom as D.A. Heather Stevens and replaced her with former All My Children star Eden Riegel. Now comes word that Hayley Erin is out as teenager Abby Carlton. The character – to be aged a decade – will next be played by Marcy Rylan, a sensation as Guiding Light’s Lizzie Spaulding. This is the third high-profile replacement casting at Y&R in recent weeks—the soap also axed William Russ as Tucker and gave the role to ex-Days of Our Lives heavyweight Stephen Nichols. TV Guide Magazine spoke with Rylan to get the scoop on her new gig in Genoa City.
