some news i read earlier, from CBS Soaps Magazine:

- Amber will be leaving Y&R soon...not sure if her char is going back to B&B though

- Amber's mother, Tawny is supposed to be making an appearance in Y&R

-The lady who portrays Bridget on B&B just landed a primetime tv role, so B&B might be recasting Bridget, again.

oh wow that would be interesting if amber went back to BB.

Marie Wilson exits As the World Turns

When As the World Turns airs its final episode in September, it may very well be doing so without some of its current castmembers. Marie Wilson has reportedly taped her last scenes with the show.


As time winds down for As the World Turns, it appears that the show is making cast cuts in advance of its series finale. A member of one of the show's core families, soapcentral.com has learned, has been let go.


According to a setside source, Marie Wilson (Meg Snyder) has finished her run on the show. The actress

taped her final scenes on April 9, but due to As the World Turns' tape schedule, she will continue to air into the summer.


In discussing a post-As the World Turns life, Wilson hinted that she is looking forward to trying her hand at this year's pilot season.


Wilson joined the cast of As the World Turns in 2005, becoming just the second actress to hold down the part. Before joining the long-running CBS soap, Wilson enjoyed a four-year run on Port Charles.


A spokesperson for As the World Turns had no comment about Wilson's status with the show.



Jeff Branson hired for contract role on Y&R

Emmy winner Jeff Branson is headed back to daytime television. The actor, known for roles on All My Children and Guiding Light, will appear in a yet-to-be-named contract role on The Young and the Restless.


Emmy-winning actor Jeff Branson (ex-Jonathan Lavery, All My Children; ex-Shayne Lewis, Guiding Light) will join the cast of The Young and the Restless next month.


Branson joined the cast of All My Children in 2004, playing the troubled Jonathan Lavery. He remained with the show for four years, picking up an Outstanding Supporting Actor nomination in 2005. In December 2008, Branson signed on to appear as Shayne Lewis on Guiding Light. He remained with the series through its finale in September 2009. Last year, Branson earned a Daytime Emmy win in the Outstanding Supporting Actor category.


Upon winning his Daytime Emmyin August 2009, Branson declined to comment on his future job prospects. After admitting to being a little superstitious, Branson said only that he'd be moving from New York to Los Angeles, and refused to rule out working on a soap in the future.


On The Young and the Restless, Branson will be reunited with several familiar faces from his previous stops in daytime. Branson worked previously with Eden Riegel (Heather Stevens), Stacy Haiduk (Patty Williams/Emily Peterson), Billy J. Miller (Billy Abbott), and Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe Mitchell) on All My Children, where Hendrickson played Branson's former on-screen love interest. During his time on Guiding Light, Branson worked with John Driscoll (Chance Chancellor) and Marcy Rylan (Abby Carlton)


Exactly what role Branson will be playing on The Young and the Restless has not yet been revealed. It is known, however, that the role is a contract role. Branson first reports to the Y&R set in late-May.


A show spokesperson did not respond to requests for a statement.

Jeff was great in his role as Shayne. I miss Guiding Light now.

WHY IS THIS SHOW ENDING?!?!?!

Tuesday's episode was amazing! Thank god Vienna has Casey to fall back on (when this scheme of hers blows up in her face) That was my main concern, I thought Henry was going to dump her and she was going to end up with nobody but Casey saves that from happening, yay! I really want Vienna with Casey, they looked all kinds of hot together. Barbara and Henry dancing was hilarious, they definitely are a great coupling, I just wanted Henry to man the fuck up and be honest with V.

Molly needs to stop being patient (she is trying so hard) but enough is enough. It's time for Molly to whoop Lily's ass, I FUCKING HATE LILY! I just know that Molly is going to end up hurt during this

and of course the best part of Tuesday's episode was Luke and Reid, just wow! The sexual tension, the kiss, the acting, the ACTORS! Everything about this storyline is fucking top notch, Van Hansis deserves a emmy for his performance ::claps::

Katie playing match maker a few days ago was adorable, I miss Brad He and Katie were my favorite couple at one point and it sucks that they killed him off. With that said, Katie is ending up with Chris, the writings is on the wall, I approve <3

Days of Our Lives
ok wowza! Days just got interesting again, Chloe getting loud at Carly was the lolz, I didn't know Nadia had it in her, you go girl <3 Chloe has been having some great material lately, I hope she's preggers with Phillips baby (I loved them back in 2000) 10 years already? Holy fuck!

Gabby vs Nicole that was a great scene and alol @ Nicole talking spanish, that was kind of perfect (is Arianne Zuker latina IRL?)

I missed quite a few episodes, how did Hope turn into a crazy bitch? Is that shady doctor behind it?

One Life To Live
OMG What a boring soap opera, who the fuck cares about teen Jessica? whiny Danielle? slutty Langston? REX AND GIGI?

The only thing keeping me watching is Tea Delgado! This "tumor" better not kill her or I will leave this shitfest forever! I wouldn't put it past these crappy writers to kill Tea off just so Danielle and Todd bond

Y&R: I cried like a baby watching Daniel and Amber say goodbye. I dont even really like Amber that much but I felt so bad for her.

This is shitty writing, Daniel really has no storylines so they should have had Amber and Daniel leave together

ONE LIFE TO LIVE!
I love Darren! About time Destiny had someone who likes her for HER! I get serious Angie and Jesse vibes (young AA couple that started out in high school and went on to become a super couple). With that said, I feel that Matthew will realize that it was Destiny whom he had feelings for all along. Which brings me to Danielle, alol @ her obviously wanting Nate, take that Matthew! Both of your girls seem to be interested in other guys (Destiny will eventually come around to Darren)


WOWZA! Blair and Tea were amazing, I loved their scenes this week, first time I shed a tear in months (well on this soap). I really hope Tea doesn't die . It's really sweet to see long time rivals be there for each other when the time calls for it.

I LOVE Blair and Eli, I want to see more of these two, Blair seems to have really stopped with her Todd obsession and I think that's great, Blair and Eli should totally fall in love, they have amazing chemistry together. DO NOT DISPPOINT OLTL!

Marty? How about a one way ticket out of town? I really don't like her with John and I have no desire to see her with Todd, maybe a interracial relationship with the very single Greg? Or Patrick coming from the dead? If not any of the latter then she can just leave.

This morning, on CBS's Early Show, One Life to Live's Bree Williamson and The Doctors' Travis Stork were on hand to announce the nominations for the 37th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. All My Children, General Hospital, The Young and the Restless, and last year's champ The Bold and the Beautiful got the biggest kudos as nominees for Outstanding Daytime Drama Series. And Agnes Nixon will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award. Well deserved, if you ask us.
