- PWInsider.com is reporting Jeff Hardy wants to return to WWE in 2013 when his current TNA contract expires. The report goes on to say Hardy wants to return to WWE for the big money contract as he's lost quite a bit with his legal proceedings over the last few years.
WZ has spoken to sources very close to the situation who claim this is not entirely accurate.
According to our sources, Hardy would be open to returning to WWE, but one source stressed, most wrestlers always are. Currently, Hardy would like to take time off as he wants to take care of his mind and body.
Reportedly, Hardy is in good enough financial standing that he can afford to take time off and doesn't need to rush to the next big paycheck.
PWInsider.com reported TNA is trying to do whatever they can to keep Hardy, the company's top merchandise seller, on its roster. WZ can confirm this is true. TNA has been aggressively pushing Hardy to re-sign and has talked about putting the world title on him to help persuade Hardy to remain with the company.
WZ will bring you any new information on the situation as it progresses. Didnt WWE do the SAME exact thing in 2009? Gave him the World title TWICE in the hopes that hed re-sign a new contract and did he? Nope...

| God, would I love to see him back in the WWE but he's doing great in TNA. I rather him continuously be pushed in TNA than shuffled into the mid-card in the WWE. | |

| Jeff Hardy left WWE due to a third Wellness Strike. He didn't get a quick release because his contract was up about a month later. I think he was planning on leaving anyways, but the third strike caused WWE to end negotiations. | |

| Nah, it was a rumor going around that he had potentially failed it and that the reason he left was because he was trying to avoid being fired. If he actually did fail the 3rd test they wouldnt of put the World title on him in the hopes he woulda re-signed. | |

| That isn't necessarily true we don't really know what WWE would do if one of their biggest names got their 3rd strike..
They say they would fire them I just have a hard time believing they would actually do it...
Either way I want Jeff Hardy to officially retire in WWE so he should come back whenever he can and hopefully he can have a 1-2 year run without any drama.

| As noted earlier, Jeff Hardy's TNA contract expires at the beginning of 2013.According to a source close to the situation, the primary concern for Hardy right now is to take time away from beating himself up and taking bumps full time. Hardy is a big advocate now of taking care of himself, which includes not overworking. He wants time to recharge and heal, as well as to spend more time with his family.A WWE return is a possibility, and it has been something he's considered. It is not currently his primary focus.TNA originally tried to strong arm him into re-signing by not not putting him on TV, not push him and telling him that they will use him just to build other wrestlers up. After TNA saw that their approach wasn't working, they changed gears and "started kissing his ass," leading to his current push.Currently, Hardy wants a substantial amount of time off from being under contract and doesn't want to work full time anywhere when his deal is up. He'll decide where -- or if -- he'll work after that. TNA is obviously working to re-sign him, and are hoping that his current push will change his mind.Hardy is financially set, and reports of him wanting to make one more "big money" run in WWE because he lost so much with his legal issues are said to be false.http://www.WrestlingInc.com/wi/news/2012/0920/556451/jeff-hardy-update/#ixzz273rqXtTl | |
