WWE Champion vs. WH Champion on 1st Ever Episode of WWE Main Event!

ION Television’s new weekly program, WWE Main Event, will kick off with one of the biggest matches of the year. Announced on SmackDown, WWE Champion CM Punk will face World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus in the main event – the first-ever meeting between the two Superstars!

WWE Main Event debuts this Wednesday on ION Television. The hour-long program will feature in-ring action, commentary, exclusive behind-the-scenes content and continue to build on the events of Monday Night Raw, leading directly into Friday Night SmackDown, making Wednesday night appointment viewing for the WWE Universe.

Don’t miss the huge featured contest – Champion vs. Champion – on the debut on WWE Main Event this Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012 at 8/7 p.m. CT.

- We noted before that CM Punk vs. Sheamus is booked for the first episode of WWE Main Event next Wednesday. The match will be taped on Tuesday night at the SmackDown tapings. In an update, it looks like Paul Heyman will also be appearing with Punk on Main Event. Heyman is advertised to appear with Punk as he faces Sheamus in the dark main event of Tuesday's SmackDown tapings. That dark main event is likely the Main Event tapings.

I don't get what the show is supposed to be about is it just another Superstars or something?.

Yeah basically that's it.

They are really trying to have big stars on it every week however we all know that will not last long..
