Report: Backstage Talk On CM Punk's Status In WWE

CM Punk's status in WWE is being compared by some to Bret Hart in the early 90's according to PWInsider.com.

The Bret Hart reference is because CM Punk is a work horse in all aspects but still doesn't get the top billing of John Cena, or for Bret Hart it was fighting the image of Hulk Hogan.

There is also a worry backstage on CM Punk getting worn out and the company really only having two legit top draws—CM Punk and John Cena.

They need to work on pushing some of the stars they got.

Miz works just as hard as John Cena if not harder they say in promoting the company he does all these media events for them and stuff. The guy is talented and should be in the picture of main events.

Ryback is become intresting as a wrestler and will be pushed into the title picture which is good

Swagger who was a champion and fall down so far in the view of wwe it is sad when he is a good talent.

Christian who did good heel work with Orton in that feud.

Ziggler who could possibly step up nice.

I mean they got talent they seemed to stop focusing on so much. I mean honestly it would be a switch fans want. I mean having a title defend on each show in the main event would be nice. To feature the tag title,IC title,US Title,and Divas title would be a very wise move for the company. Let fans get to see people instead of the same old Cena and Punk main events. I mean on PPV Punk should be main eventing over Cena. Cena should be able to work the shows and not be in the main event same goes for Punk.
