She teamed up with Audrey Marie to take on former SHIMMER stars Paige and Emma in tag action and even managed to walk away victorious in her first NXT match. The 20-year old signee sent out a Tweet following the match: “First match @NXT so blessed and thankful for this opportunity!” Mercedes and Charlotte shared ring announcing duties at the previous weekend’s show. | ^ Both women were solid in that match.
I like Mercedes so far from that match and a few others from that promotion although I would think her finisher would need to be changed since she uses a Chick Kick just like Layla is using atm.
She did a hurricanrana pin to win a match or at least get a near fall so maybe she can be like Gail Kim and use that as a finisher for a while? | |
