Mickie James Returning to Impact This Thursday

This Thursday, Mickie James will make her long-awaited return to the TNA ring.

As revealed in a tweet by TNA President Dixie Carter, Mickie will compete in a Battle Royal that will determine the #1 contender to Tara‘s Knockouts Title.

While the rest of the competitors have not been revealed yet, it’s speculated the Madison Rayne, who has also been absent from Impact lately, will take part in the match. This is based on a tweet that said she was en route to Orlando.

The match will be taped tonight to be aired on this Thursday’s Impact. Tomorrow, the Thanksgiving Day episode of Impact will be taped.

Mickie has been absent from TNA television since August and revealed in September that she was recovering from a case of bruised ribs. She’s made the most of her time away from the ring, though, filming a music video for her song “Somebody’s Gonna Pay” with fellow ex-Diva Trish Stratus.
