* Tony Dawson and William Regal on commentary.

* Conar O’Brian defeated Oliver Grey via a leg drop.

Superstar Showdown

* Wade Barrett defeated Alex Riley via Bull Hammer.

12/27/12 NXT

* Garrett Dylan and Denton Blackwell went to a no contest when The Shield attacked both of them. Dusty came to the stage. Ambrose said that what he just saw is just a small taste of what The Shield is capable of. Rollins says they have taken over Raw, Smackdown, and now NXT and nothing can be done to do anything about it. Dusty said Rollins was supposed to take them to the promised land. Dusty said he is defending the NXT title against Corey Graves. Ambrose says that no one tells them what to do anymore. Dusty says when they are in his building he will tell them what to do. He says if Seth doesn’t defend he will strip him of the title. Rollins says Corey is a wrong that they can right. He tells Dusty to be careful what they should win for. Roman says if this is his house, he is paying The Shield’s rent.

* Bo Dallas defeated Epico via Spear. Primo jumped in and looked to doubleteam Bo until Michael McGillicutty made the save.

* Tamina Snuka defeated Sasha via Superfly Splash.

* Kassius Ohno & Leo Kruger defeated Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel via Kruger’s End on Justin Gabriel.

* Jim Ross came out to do the commentary for the main event. Luftman left.

* Seth Rollins and Corey Graves went to a no contest when Ambrose and Reigns interfered. Dusty came to the stage and sent multiple members of the roster to attack The Shield. The Shield triple-powerbombed Bo Dallas. Big E Langston’s music hit and he came to the ring. The Shield bailed to ringside. Dusty took the mic and said that next week Big E Langston will challenge for the NXT title.

1/3/13 NXT

* Backstage Dusty was with Rob Naylor who quickly ran away when The Shield walked in. Big E also walked in. Dusty announced that the match is no disqualification.

* The Family (Luke Harper & Rowan) defeated Percy Watson & Yoshi Tatsu via discus lariat by Brodie on Yoshi. Wyatt watched in his rocking chair from the stage.

* Paige defeated Emma via the RamPaige (Lightning Spiral).

* Primo & Epico defeated Bo Dallas & Michael McGillicutty via Lungblower by Primo on Michael.

* In a No Disqualification Match for the NXT title, Big E Langston defeated Seth Rollins to become the second NXT Champion. The Shield came out towards the beginning of the match and got involved when it seemed like Rollins would lose. The NXT roster chased them away. Rollins hit the Shiranui on Big E, but Big E kicked out. He went for it again but Big E countered it into The Big End. The roster came out to celebrate and Triple H and Dusty raised Big E’s hands up in the air when he got to the stage. We have photos at this link.

1/10/13 NXT

* In a dark segment for the crowd, Kevin Nash comes out and promotes the main event of Antonio Cesaro and Damien Sandow vs Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel. Also commends Big E for winning the “WXT” Title. Heath Slater comes out and says there is a new band in town. Nash ended up Jackknife Powerbombing Slater.

* Adrian Neville (PAC on the independent wrestling scene) defeated Sakamoto via Corkscrew Shooting Star Press.

* Trent Barreta defeated Leo Kruger via DQ. Kassius Ohno, in a suit and glasses, was on commentary with Luftman and Regal. After Trent hit a flipping senton to Leo on the outside and put him back in the ring, Ohno ran over and hit a rolling elbow to the back of Trent’s head and rolled Kruger in the ring. Kruger hit Kruger’s end for the win. Regal came over to check on Trent and the ref ended up reversing the decision, giving Trent the DQ win.

* The new NXT Champion Big E Langston came out. He takes a mic and says as the new NXT Champion, all of the fans are about to see a reign unlike any they have seen before. He welcomes them to the era of the 5, and chants it. Camacho comes to the stage and says that he and Big E have beef to settle. He said at first it was about the money and says he will get his boy back from Mexico and will take the title as well.

* Big E. Langson defeated Camacho with the Big End rather quickly. He then hit it again after the match for a five count. Crowd chanted for one more time and Big E obliged.

* Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel defeated Damien Sandow & Antonio Cesaro via a quebrada by Gabriel on Sandow followed by a springboard elbow by Kidd.

Next NXT taping at Full Sail will be on January 10th, 2013 and it was announced that Shawn Michaels will be in attendance.

hopefully tamina vs sasha will be good. I thought corey was going to get the belt but im cool with Big E. A lot of good matches to watch.

^ Yeah I was really surprised Corey didn't win considering the rumors of them being very high on him..

Good for Big E. though.

There were a lot of matches taped that I look forward to so I hope I can find the episodes ASAP when they air.
