| Generico is an amazing worker, and his gimmick is a generic luchador (hes from Canada). This is why everyone should get out of that "only wrestling that matters is WWE/TNA" mentality and seriously check out the indies. | |

| I don't think people only watch TNA/WWE because its the only wrestling that matters.I think its because its the only wrestling shows that are on TV,Im pretty sure if ROH was TV then people would talk about it more.Theres so much you gotta do in order to watch Indy shows you gotta pay something to watch something from ROH,you gotta buy DVDs if you wanna watch shimmer its not that easy as it sounds.I mean I'm pretty sure Theres some matches on youtube but still. | |

| ^ Very true DL. It makes it harder when some people only have so much money they can spend.. -_- I know if I had a ton of money I'd buy all the Shimmer/WSU/Shine DVDs and be current but it just isn't going to happen atm..

As noted before, WWE has signed El Generico to a developmental deal. One of the main reasons they wanted him is because he speaks a number of different languages. The feeling is that will come in handy as an asset for international markets. Generico has canceled some indy events and will likely be headed to developmental soon. There's a feeling among some within WWE that he will no longer wrestler under a mask but that's not confirmed. | |

| the whole "if its not on tv i cant see it" argument is flawed. you can find any and all indy stuff on the internet for free if you look hard enough. plus ROHs website shows the weekly tv show every week. its just an excuse not to watch the indies IMO | |
