Update: Current Top 4 Matches Planned For WrestleMania 29

According to The Wrestling Observer, as of this writing, the following are the top four matches currently scheduled to take place at WrestleMania 29:

-The Rock vs John Cena for the WWE Title
-Brock Lesnar vs Triple H
-CM Punk vs The Undertaker
-Randy Orton vs Sheamus for the World Title

These matches/plans can of course change at anytime, but we have been reporting over the past couple weeks that WWE has a pretty firm idea of what the top of the WrestleMania card will be, so it's likely the above four matches are a lock for the big PPV this year.

why Orton v Sheamus for the World title? and seriously if so, why put the strap on ADR? woulda been better to just allow Sheamus to win it back of Show at like EC and then go from there...rather than give ADR another pointless 4 week reign like he had with his 2 WWE title reigns

I really Hope none of these matches happen because If we get Rock vs Cena again it would defeat the purpose of what it was last year.Punk vs Taker would be nice but I don't wanna see that at all.I want punk to Atleast have the WWE title until WM but I don't want Rock winning it off from him I would rather have Cena do it.The only good if we get Sheamus vs Orton would be if Dolph Cashes in and Wins the title I am so not interested in that match.I really hope this aint true.

Punk/Taker will be great....but getting slightly bored of Taker's one time appearances.

I really ain't big on these part timers...I understand from a buisness stand point it gets them money...but I am fed up with all these part times taking away the main stage for the guys that NEED it in order to solidify a future for WWE.

HHH/Lesnar doesn't interest me either, mainly because I have NEVER understood the hype with Lesnar...he's got IMO the Benoit/Jacqueline/Gail/Shelton Benjamin (among others) problem...fantastic wrestler techincally but boring as hell personality wise.

I do like your idea for the 4 way elimination match for the World title...but this also leaves me wondering what for Big Show??? they spent the last year building him up, for him to lose the title randomly and then get left off...and we can't exactly have a 5 way match that is just a little too out there

How about a Championship scramble???

A scramble would work sure....but it really isn't a wrestlemania caliber type of match.

It's really just a match to scramble as many people in as possible

But if it was build up right it can work.

I agree it could work and it hasn't happened in over 4 years.

BTW let's all get real the WWE gives a fuck about the WHT at WM recently..

I mean at WM 27 the match was FIRST and it was not even given that much time [12 minutes]..

And at WM 28 the match was again FIRST but this time it was fucking 18 seconds..

A scramble match [or my 4 way elimination match] that is NOT the first match of the night and is guaranteed to have 20 minutes [or so] would be a big improvement imo..

Well you never know at this point I think the only reason why the World Title Match last year was so short was because they wanted to give Cena and Rock more time as a matter of fact I think all the matches were short besides Taker/HHH and Cena/Rock.I just really hope for a good WM this year Because I haven't seen a good one Since WM 22
