| NBCUniversal head Steve Burke announced Monday that WWE's long-time TV ally Bonnie Hammer will now over-see all cable TV channels in the NBC Universal family, reports Deadline.com.
"Assembling our cable entertainment assets together in one group under Bonnie Hammer’s oversight is a logical and important step," wrote Burke in an internal email.
Hammer already oversaw USA Network, which airs WWE Raw, and Syfy, which airs Smackdown.
Hammer now overseeing the entire cable TV portfolio could create more cross-over appearances for WWE stars on other NBCU cable channels, such as "The Soup" special that aired on E! and USA Network at the end of 2012.
