WWE Diva Tamina Snuka said in the newest edition of WWE Magazine that she is still trying to find her place in WWE, especially being in her father's shadow.
"Being Jimmy Snuka's daughter is something I can't get rid of - and I never want to," Snuka said. "But, there's also a part of me that is still trying to find out who Tamina is."
Tamina, who has bounced around from program to program, including a recent stint as Vickie Guerrero's bodyguard, is now one of the remaining women's wrestlers on the roster. On Sunday, she challenges Kaitlyn for the Divas Title at the Elimination Chamber PPV.
"I think I will find my own path, and my own finisher, and make my ring style my own, but today, I'm proud to show where I come from," she said.
Tamina recently gained exposure when new WWE champion The Rock tweeted a photo of them training together. Tamina says Rock was one of the people who encouraged her to enter the wrestling business.
"From the second I said I wanted to be a Diva, my pops, and even The Rock, were so supportive, whereas my brother said absolutely not," she said. "It was a constant push and pull, so it really was a decision I had to make on my own, based on my gut and my heart." | |
