Zack Ryder Continues Complaining

-- Zack Ryder is complaining about his place in WWE again. After the announcement of Social Media SmackDown, he tweeted: "So next week is @WWE Social Media Smackdown? I wonder if the Internet Champion will be involved. Maybe if it's Social Media Superstars."

I would say that I'm shocked he hasn't been fired yet, but JTG still has a job..

His schtick is so corny now. I'm tired of the same old lines.

though he has a right to complain I am getting rather bored of it now.

Admit it: he's the same as he was four years ago. You have no right to complain when you haven't reinvented yourself to keep yourself interesting.

Ziggler has. Show has. Punk has. Sheamus has. The Miz has. A number people have. Ryder hasn't; he's still the goofball who says wwwyki. Okay... We get it.

....that's because the WWE hasn't changed him.

It's not his choice, they WWE makes the call on his character.. not him.

He came up with it. He can tweak it.

Ryder came up with that himself because he said that's him in real life. He's that annoying kid who thinks hes relevant from "Joisey"

I haven't been interested in Zack Ryder in a long time.He really needs a new change in his character.

Not exactly true. A lot of folks think everything is entirely the writers, but that's not the case. Austin created the Stone Cold character. The Rock created that character, and tweaked & developed it on a regular basis.

Trish was always developing and tweaking her onscreen character. Just look at her heel character's evolution from Wrestlemania 20 to 21. She'd change how she played something a little here, a little there, and the writers would then have to change how they wrote her to reflect it. Mickie was who came up with her own first big storyline.

A performer will be given a gimmick or angle, but what they do with it is up to them. Look at what AJ built from being assigned as Bryan's valet. Look at how Punk reinvents himself whenever his character gets stale.

The best example of tweaking a crappy gimmick and turning it into something golden is Dolph Ziggler. He's nothing like I remember him 4-5 years ago when he first debuted with it. The catchphrase. The dance. The colors. The theme song. He has grabbed the bull by the balls because he wanted to be a star badly.

Punk is another example. Best in the World! New look. New tattoos. Keeps it real.

Now look at Randy Orton: still speaks in monotone. Still antisocial. Still uses the same moveset. Still hears voices. Um... Same old shit! Fortunately, he still has some star appeal and suppory from creative.

Randy Orton Needs a new character as well I've been very board with him as well.He was fun to watch back in 2004-05.He needs to talk more.
