The Lego Batman series has now sold 14.4 million copies since it launched in 2008.
Warner Bros. announced today that sequel Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes has sold 3.4 million copies since launch in June, adding to the 11 million units the 2008 original Lego Batman has sold as of January 2012.
A Wii U version of Lego Batman 2: Super Heroes is currently in development and is due later this spring.
Though a third entry in the series has not been announced, Lego games fans are not without new projects to look forward to.
Lego Marvel Super Heroes from TT Games and a Lego massively multiplayer online game from Age of Conan and The Secret World developer Funcom are currently in development. | |
