TNA has announced the date that it will tape their special “One Night Only: TNA Knockout Knockdown” Pay-Per-View, according to PWInsider.

The report states that VIP ticket holders were sent the taping schedule and the Knockouts-exclusive PPV will be taped on Sunday, March 17th at 1pm.

The description provided also explains that ”the true ‘Queen’ of TNA” will be crowned at the event.

This all-female show is one of 8 “One Night Only” specials announced back in January that will be broadcast alongside TNA’s 4 main pay-per-views: Genesis, Lockdown, Slammiversary and Bound For Glory.

Diva-Dirt's Thoughts: With the winner being announced as “Queen” of TNA, I imagine that a character change could be in the works for one particular Knockout, similar to how winners of WWE’s King of the Ring have adopted a royal persona over the years. Although Madison Rayne is already the “Killer Queen”, she’s not been on TV in some time, so perhaps this could be a way to re-introduce her character to the limelight?

I would like Madison to win it, fits her image and would be a great way to make her relevant again.

Any idea how long it's going to be?

^ Not much info has been released but I also want Gail to go far in this tournament.

If she doesn't win then the people I'd want to win would be Mickie or like you said Madison since she needs a big boost she has done shit since last summer..

Overall, I am very happy with the women that were brought in. They are all talented and can work a good match. Kudos to TNA for pulling this off. I can't wait to watch it.

Sounds really good! And I'm glad Gail won! But it sucks that Madison didn't compete at all! Hopefully it's not a sign that her tenure with TNA is coming to an end.....

Getting back on this topic I wonder if more of those women will stick around especially if they had good matches.

I think any of the women that were brought in would be a solid addition to the roster. I do not see Mia signing since she spends so much time in Japan with REINA. I was extremely surprised to see Serena show up since she told the Women of Wrestling podcast that SHIMMER or Pro Wrestling Syndicate would be her first match back.

Overall, each match really looks like it could have a lot of potential. The spoilers don't include the match times, so I'm not sure how long the PPV is going to be.

No it will cost $15 on PPV.

@Shimmer Mark: I'm also hoping the matches are given good time. At least the bigger matches like Gail/Alissa Flash and Mickie/Serena etc.

Out of all of the matches, I expect the weakest ones to the Three-way, Brooke/Santana, and Jackie/Taryn. All of the others looks like they could be really really good. I was really nervous about this show with all of the declines coming out.

Yeah I think the weakest would be the 3 way match but who knows.

The report was very vague.

I hate when people send in reports like that. They saw the matches and wanted to send in what they saw so why don't they do their best to give a good report..?
