Is the WWE looking to boost the Divas division by bringing back former stars? That could well be the case, according to a report by F4WOnline.

The report states that WWE officials declared that they wanted “more women on TV and wanted to beef the Divas division up”. Thus, the reason why Brie and Nikki Bella returned to the company last night on Raw.

An original idea was to call up new Divas from NXT, but that was nixed.

Following that, the WWE contacted several former Divas and have offered them more money than they were earning before. Some have yet to reply to the WWE’s latest offers.

Apparently, the Bellas accepted the WWE’s first offer, hence them being the first Divas to return.

The twins were among a slew of Divas who had departed the company since the start of last year, along with Beth Phoenix, Eve Torres, Kelly Kelly, Kharma and Maxine.

One name on that list, Kharma, was asked by a fan on Twitter if she will return now that her arch rivals the Bella Twins are back. She replied:

Who from the past would you most want back?

Would you rather see past names return or have the WWE make new stars?

Kharma is the only one that should come back Eve,Beth and even my wifey Kelly Kelly had there runs and its over let the past be past its time to move on to a new generation a new Erra.

Ideally Kong would come back, but there isn't a good enough division to bring her back for. Realistically, who in the division could be put as a worthy opponent? The best wrestlers they have right now are Natalya and AJ. While I would love to see a Kong/Natalya thing, that can't go on forever, and everything else for her would be a squash match. We have seen that with her time in TNA. I want Kong to come back, but I want something for her to come back to.

Personally, I would love to see Maxine make a return. I think she had grown SO much in the ring since her horrid days in the Diva's NXT. I think, with more time to train, she could be a solid worker. She definitely had the charisma to fit in.

I think Everyone Mostly wants to see Kharma come back just so she can Beat the Bella Twins Up after what they said to her WWE got some Women on the Roster well development that I believe Kharma can face off with such as Anya who is pretty tall,That New Girl that Got sign the bodybuilder one I forgot her name and also I can see Paige.Also From the Current Roster Maybe Naomi,Natalya,Bella's(With them Fighting in handicap matches) also Alica fox is pretty much the same height as Kharma,And Even Layla might Surprise me.

The twin duo had been in contract negotiations with officials from the sports-entertainment organization for approximately two months, with offers triggered by the feeling of lacking depth among the Divas ranks and talent in developmental not being ready to be promoted. Contract offers have also been made to Maryse Ouellet and the former Kelly Kelly, Barbie Blank. Both starlets rejected the company's overtures, but are believed to still be in negotiations.

Although, I'm more hopeful about Maxine returning, than Maryse.

I think the people to blame aren't the Divas in the first place, but WWE Creative, obviously. I mean, everyone knows it's not because of the wrestlers themselves. Unless you're not smart enough to know that the storylines and what they're actually doing isn't actually up to them. Ya learn something new everyday! smile

How does Bella Twins,Maryse and Kelly Kelly Ruin the Divison If bringing them back means Storylines,Matches On RAW and Longer Time matches then I'm all up for it these 4 were very Marketable and could put some of the divas now over.

Agreed.
Even though they might not be the best in-ring, or even if they're not that great on the mic... these girls still attract the audience, which brings in the money for the company. You can't view this as simply being a wrestling show. If that's what you want, go watch the indies. WWE and TNA are businesses trying to keep themselves alive... and so they will go with what's more marketable as a product, rather than what is better as a wrestling product.

MARYSE!!! I would be so glad to see her back!

Why not try to bring Beth back? At least she could wrestle.

Following the returns of Brie and Nikki Bella this past Monday on Raw, rumors began to surface that the WWE was reaching out to former Divas in the hopes that they would return to the company.

So far, three names have come up in connection to those rumors. Beth Phoenix, Kelly Kelly and Maryse have received offers from the WWE, according to reports by F4WOnline.com.

No word yet on whether any of the three–all former Divas Champions–will resign with the company.

For me Beth is an easy YES, Kelly is an easy NO, and Maryse is a YES although I don't want her to be the center of the division.

None really. Start fresh and recruit new talent, much the same as they've done to replenish the male roster.

Maryse would be a decent return, maybe put her in an AJ style role with The Miz. As the two are engaged they'd be a perfect pairing.

Kharma would be a good return too, but my worry with that is if they push Kharma as this unstoppable monster type character, it could do more harm to the the division than good, and would probably damage her in the long run.

I wouldn't mind seeing Beth Phoenix back, but then again, wouldn't complain if she didn't.

Another former Diva I wouldn't mind seeing back is Michelle McCool. But she's a new mother and if the rumours are true and this is Undertaker's last Wrestlemania, she might want to stay off the road to be a family, which is understandable.

Kelly Kelly is the same as Beth for me, wouldn't mind if she returned, wouldn't complain if she didn't.

Eve has just left, I get the feeling she'd say no if an offer was extended to her.

I doubt there would be much more than WWE would be interested in. If they wanted to bring ligitimacy to the division though, they should use Sara Del Rey in more than just a trainer role.
