Impressive-sized crowd on Thursday night. Well over 1,000 in attendance.
(1) Trent? Barreta beat Sonjay Dutt.
(2) Black Hollywood won the PWS Tag Team Championships over The Phat Pack, South Side Playaz Club, and D-Struction & Seduction.
(3) Dan Maff defeated Kevin Steen via submission. Seriously, this happened.
Simon Dean issued an open challange which was answered by none other than The Drunken Swashbuckler, which is a wasted pirate.
(4) The Drunken Swashbuckler beat Simon Dean after a re-start. Simon Dean won dirty, but Hurricane Helms had the ref restart the match and Swashbuckler won by roll-up. The Simon System appears to have failed Simon Dean, who was in dreadful shape.
(5) Starman beat Alex Reynolds to win the PWS Tri-State Championship. Reynolds used a body double to cheat for the pin, but Commissioner Vader came out to restart the match, which Starman won.
(6) Necro Butcher beat Apollyon in a No DQ war. Necro won by choking out Apollyon with a chair. Also involved were New Jack, Tommy Dreamer, Matt Tremont, Devon Moore, and Lucifer Darksyde.
[Intermission]
(7) Bonesaw won a 30-man Rumble match to earn a shot at the PWS Championship any time in the future. The final three were Bonesaw, Hurricane Helms, and The Big O. Cool note, PWG "Legend" Human Tornado returned to the ring after a three-year-absence. 15 men started in the ring and the final 15 entered every minute.
(8) John Morrison beat "The Pope" Elijah Burke. This one went about 10 minutes and Morrison won with Starship Pain.
(9) Rock 'n Roll Express beat The Briscoes with a double dropkick. The Express worked hard and got a standing ovation after the match.
(10) Kevin Matthews pinned Colt Cabana to retain the PWS Championship. Standard, enjoyable Cabana match.
(11) Jushin Liger beat Davey Richards and Tony Nese in a three-way match. Liger pinned Richards after a brainbuster in the match of the night.
