Jim Ross Talks Paige and Summer Rae: “Both Need More Time”

Jim Ross recently held a Q&A on his official website and gave his opinion on NXT Diva standouts Paige and Summer Rae.

The two NXT talents have been embroiled in a fantastic rivalry over recent months, which has seen Paige continue to excel in the ring and Summer show her unlimited charisma on the mic.

When asked about whether the girls should be called up, Jim said: ”When the two ladies you spoke of are ready they will be called up. I think both need more time in NXT. Life on the road is hard and takes preparation. Let’s allow them to improve and better prepare for the grueling road schedule that awaits them. There is no hurry.”

Whilst being on the main roster would be exciting for both Paige and Summer, there is indeed no hurry, as NXT’s Divas division is only going to get more interesting. WWE recently signed Paige’s former SHIMMER manager Rebecca Knox to a developmental deal whilst also unveiling an NXT Women’s Championship at Axcess.

i totally agree they are good but they can still get better

I think Paige is ready to be in WWE now but if she stays in NXT for a little while I wouldn't mind.

I really want her to win the NXT Women's Title and then when WWE wants her to debut on Raw/SD she can drop it to Summer.
