YouTube unveiled Thursday an initial list of companies offering subscription-based content. The list of 53 content providers includes TNA, who are launching "TNA Wrestling Plus."
The pay channel, which TNA hopes will generate additional revenue using their tape library, is priced at $4.99 per month.
The description reads: "New content will be added weekly! More 2012 PPVs coming, plus exclusive content! Watch archived events featuring your favorite Impact Wrestling Superstars, including Hulk Hogan, Sting, Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle, A.J. Styles, and many more!"
Currently offered in the YouTube subscription package are "Superstar/Special Releases" and entire TNA PPV events from 2004 through 2012.
WWE is not partnering with YouTube for a pay channel, according to entertainment media reports. UFC is one of the top partners that YouTube stressed when announcing the initial list of content providers. | |
