WWE Issues Statement On Saturday Morning Slam's Future

UPDATE: WWE sent eWrestlingNews.com the following statement regarding Saturday Morning Slam possibly ending:

“It has always been the plan to air the first season of WWE Saturday Morning Slam on the CW from August of 2012 through May of 2013, as this is a typical television season. WWE is currently in discussions about a second season, and if we reach an agreement, the show will begin airing again in August.”

ORIGINAL: The WWE Saturday Morning Slam show may only air for a few more weeks on the CW Network. The word is that the CW only purchased a certain amount of episodes, and with WWE not taping any new matches for the show the past few weeks, it seems likely that the show will be ending.

WWE Saturday Morning Slam debuted on August 25th, and as of today has aired 37 episodes on the CW as part of their Vortex lineup.

We'll keep you posted as we hear more.

there has been some good matches on there, hopefully they get a second season.

I think there were a couple good matches but overall I won't mind if it goes away. :-/

lol, there are probably some others that miss those as well.

Yeah Superstars is basically SNH with a different name and day of course..

As for SNS I also didn't like how they had to cut out the 'dangerous' moves.
