WWE Signs Top Indy Wrestler - Details Inside

WWE has reportedly signed Samuray del Sol to a developmental deal. SuperLuchas.net is reporting that Samuray del Sol signed the developmental deal during the past few weeks. The site notes that his deal is said to be "very lucrative" and valued at $1 million a year. That seems ridiculously high and keep in mind the source of news.

Samurai reportedly left a great impression on WWE officials at their try-outs and "resoundingly" passed all his medical examinations for the promotion. He is going to be moving to Florida to join WWE NXT in the coming months. A $1 million dollar contract and he's headed to NXT? C'mon now ...

They are really trying hard to find their next Masked Superstar, after What's his name (I seriously forgot his name) and Rey Mysterio are more injured than healthy.

Then again, why not just pull a Suicide like TNA DID and have different people work the masked guy (Seriously his name is not coming to mind), I mean they had 2 of them at one point right? Gosh help me with the name please lol.

Sin Cara and Sin Cara two?

Yeah, them, why not rotate, but Sin Cara was a bust too, onto the new guy i guess.

Looks like it I hope that number is seriously off then again they overpaid for Mark Henry before by a lot.

I think Sin Cara is a good wrestler but WWE given up on him because of injuries and having some botched spots in matches.

Without Rey Mysterio someone is need to move the luchador mask market I am shocked they don't have Del Rio wearing one in a way at this point.

That's called addapting, not everyone is cater to his style and both sides had to find a way to make it work, neither side invested enough to make things work and nobody got anywhere.

On of it, they also had someone else wrestle onder the mask, with slighty better results in the matches, due to them knowing how to work WWE style and it still didn't benefit the character Sin Cara.

I agree with CP, the injuries and botches didn't help him, especially the injuries and WWE saw him as injury prone. WWE have dropped people because they were seen as injury prone, the last one was Mr. Kennedy, who was more injured than on the road, i think at one point they just had enough and let him go.

I thought Hunico was a better sin cara then the original sin cara to bad he's injured too I completey forgot that sin cara and Rey mysterio were still on the roster they really need to leave.

$1M seems a bit drastic/desperate from WWE, which is why I have trouble believing it. The guy is talented, but WWE doesn't drop that kind of money on just anybody, especially from a position of power.
