Details on Vignette for Raw on the Wyatt Family

The vignette that aired on RAW this week for "The Wyatt Family" is for developmental talents Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. Bray Wyatt looks to be the leader of the group and he's coming with his "family" - Rowan and Harper. The gimmick looks like a small takeoff of "Duck Dynasty" (looks/family aspect) with a twist. For those unaware, Fandango is a takeoff of "Dancing With The Stars".

Wyatt is formally known as Husky Harris. After being sent back to WWE developmental, he was working as a Southern preacher, cult leader-esque character. We noted several weeks ago here on the website that there was talk of calling Wyatt up to the main roster sooner than later. He's seen as having a ton of potential and is also the son of Mike "IRS" Rotunda.

Luke Harper is formally known as Brodie Lee. He's worked for numerous indy promotions including Dragon Gate as well as 2CW and CHIKARA.

Erick Rowan is a Minnesota native and was trained by Eddie Sharkey. Harper and Rowan are the current NXT Tag Team champions.

I like duck dynasty and that didn't remind me of anything like that it reminded me of that movie Deliverence

I've never seen Duck Dynasty, but I think Bray (Husky) is going more for a Waylon Mercy or Cape Fear type character.

I don't know Rowan, but I know Brodie Lee is solid for a big man.


Should be fun to see them. Also, is WWE going to bring all newcomers in as heels? I feel like it's heel overload at the moment with Shield, Axel, and Fandango.

Duck Dynasty is in a way relegious funny southern redneck hunter types. Who the one son went to college and turned their duck call business into big money are millionaires.
