There is currently major heat backstage on Mark Henry in WWE. WWE creative reportedly had a major storyline planned for him, but in the past week Henry contacted WWE and asked for time off to heal from injuries.
While WWE tells their performers they want them to rest when they are hurt, the feeling right now is that WWE is upset with Henry. They did a lot to build Henry up and get him hot again, only for him to ask for time off right after.

| That sucks but he is hurt so they should not get so mad.. Who knows he could get even more hurt and then he could possibly have to retire considering he has had a lot of big injuries in his career. | |

| It does suck, I have always been a supporter of Henry and hearing he had a big storyline coming is nice to know....lets just hope some time off he can come back and still get the same push. | |

| I can understand the frustration. They've wasted time on him. They have planned something and now they have to abort.
They're probably more frustrated with the circumstance than upset with Mark. Idk, but it's a guess. | |
