Backstage Update - Christian's WWE Return

For some time now, Christian's return to WWE TV has been a hot topic of discussion. He's been ready to go for months now and the creative team has reportedly been working on a return angle for him for months.

Christian's return to TV has now been made somewhat of a priority, and he is expected back on TV "very soon."

I could careless about christian nowadays he hasn't been relevant to me since the days he was with Trish Startus and it was only because of Trish Startus that Made him more relevant christian never stood out to me his days with edge were his best.

I agree, Christian to me was always the one in the same boat as D'Von and Matt Hardy...and this is WAY before the days where Edge/Christian/Matt and Jeff were having singles title runs back in 2001/2

During their 3 way tag fued over the 2000/1 period Edge/Jeff and Bubba ALWAYS had that something more special about them.

I think he was a good champion and WWE let him go and he was hurt by the orton feud and injuries

The reason why Christian wasnt as big as Edge is due to WWE wanting to make one of the guys in a tag team the STAR. Christian was misused and mishandled from the get go.

No he wasn't.Christian was top superstar during the WWECW brand which isn't something to brag about but still.He had his moments in WWE that are memorable.But Christian just didn't have "It" like Edge did even when christian was with Trish he didn't Stand out at all Trish was more interesting then Christian at the time.

Again, Edge was made to look like the star, thats WHY he WAS the star of that tag team. Yeah, he was the top guy in ECW (guess what, so was Matt Hardy), but ECW was the brand to be when you were either starting out or having your career be rebooted or killed. Fact of the matter is yeah, Christian was misused and mishandled from the getgo. The feud he had going with Cena in 2005 coulda made money, but instead, he was drafted to Smackdown and did nothing. What has he done since the ECW brand went away? NOTHING! And dont bring up the WHC reigns, those were complete shit and a platform to get Orton over.

Some people have it and some people just don't have it.Christian was good for what he can do but Edge was better than him.The Same With Jeff And Matt And John Morrison and Joey Mercury.Theres always that One Person that Stands Out In Tag Teams and Edge was that guy who stood out in that group.Chrisitian was not misused because he had some good moments in the WWE.

Again, thats because Edge was MADE to be the star, no one KNOWS whether or not Christian could of been the star of that group. Also Matt Hardy is leaps and bounds more talented than Jeff Hardy, but they forced Jeffs highspots down our throat and he became the bigger star, sadly.

Dude Edge was never Made to look like anything Edge was just simply Being Edge.

Dude, when you're getting majority of the promo time, the pushes etc...thats being made out to be the star

Anyone can be made a star IF they get given all the attention.

Christian has proven he had the tools to be a star IMO. THE ONLY reason Christian isn't a star, is because Vince never wanted it, because he wasn't what Vince saw as a world champion. Christian's time in TNA showed, given the time, he could carry the company and he did it really good. Coming back to WWE, same story again Vince just didn't see him as Main Eventer and thus never pushed him as one. Christian could speak, Christian could act, christian could wrestle, and the fact that everyone said "He was only relevant when..." proves when given something note worthy to do he could draw. Because there are a lot of epople you can't even say "He was only relevant when...."

Christian was a victim of Vince's crazy mentality, it's probably the best way to say it.
