Dolph Ziggler Concussion Update, Axel's Title Win, Shield

WWE.com posted several backstage interviews following the WWE Payback pay-per-view. Here are some highlights:

* WWE doctor Michael Sampson says Dolph Ziggler was checked out after his match and will continue to be monitored for post-concussion symptoms. WWE.com says Ziggler's in-ring status is "up in the air" until they get more results from Ziggler's latest round of testing.

* Paul Heyman says Curtis Axel had the "perfect" victory at WWE Payback and now has a bunch of "offers" on the table.

* Kane promised that Dean Ambrose "won't escape him again".

* The Shield did another one of their hand-held videos and mocked their opponents. They said they dominated yet another WWE pay-per-view and Ambrose said Rollins and Reigns are "the best tag team walking today." Ambrose went on to say that The Shield is the "new generation" of WWE.

I think they're hinting at a double turn with Ziggler and Del Rio. ADR is better as a heel, and Ziggler is getting cheered. Combine that with Dolph's "fighting spirit" and ADR taking advantage of Zig's injury as well as his faux face promo afterwards, and the recipe is there.

Question becomes what do you do with him and AJ now

Big E and AJ could turn on Dolph. Langston could say he's tired of being another held down African-American. It'd give E the spotlight, while garnering Dolph sympathy. Ziggler could question his confidence since his gf was stolen from him, and fight to get back his mojo.
