TMZ Reveals Lots Of Details On Randy Orton's Divorce Including His WWE Salary And More

TMZ reports that Randy Orton has gotten divorced from his wife Samantha. They were married back in 2007 but separated back in 2012. A divorce order was just signed last month. Samantha filed for divorce back in March of this year, claiming their marriage is "irretrievably broken." Both Orton and Samantha have came to a separation agreement.

According to documents, Orton will get to keep his 2012 Range Rover, his 2011 Bentley and his 2009 Harley Davidson. Samantha will get to keep her 2013 Infiniti. Orton also gets to keep several six-figure bank accounts, his gun and jewelry collections plus one house. Orton also keeps 100% of all rights, title and interest in his WWE contract. According to the same documents, Orton brings in $291,666 per month from WWE.

Samantha will get to keep a bank account worth $654,317, one house and her jewelry collection, which includes her $99,000 engagement ring and wedding ring. Samantha will receive sole legal and physical custody of their daughter but Orton will get visitation rights. Orton has agreed to pay $4,500 per month in child support.

I wonder if this will lead to issues in regards to superstar pay. Some might see Randy's pay and question what the WWE values them at.

It was noted earlier this week in the Randy Orton divorce report from TMZ that Orton makes $3.5 million per year. Orton signed a ten-year deal a few years ago.

The figures from court documents must include his income with everything figured in because the top WWE talents have a $1 million downside guarantee. Even with merchandise sales figured in, the numbers for Orton seem a bit high. The Wrestling Observer reports that one person with familiarity with such numbers said the report of Orton making $291,666 per month is "laughable" and that Orton may have had some specific months that big when he was headlining top pay-per-views but his guaranteed contract is nowhere near that level.

It's pretty well known that the top tier of talents in the company earn $1 million downside and nobody is contracted for more money except the special attractions like The Rock or Brock Lesnar.

If they are official court documents, which I doubt, why would the numbers be inflated? If anything, I would think the numbers would be deflated since it's divorce related.

I thought TMZ was pretty good with the legal stuff considering the main guy is a lawyer or something but who knows?

Usually it's done figured out on a percentage basis, but the percentage varies from state to state. There is so much unknown, with sources citing different numbers for his salary. The fact that they settled could mean different things. Either they didn't completely hate each other, and they chose not donate a lot of money to lawyers...

Or she has dirt on him that he doesn't want getting out. A court case could get messy, and even with the best lawyers, Orton probably figured it was best to pay a few dollars more to guarantee that his skeletons remained in the closet.

Again, this is clearly speculation, so who knows what really happened or how that $4.5k was figured out.
