Randy Orton Injured at SD! Tapings.

WWE.com is reporting that Randy Orton suffered a cervical strain and cervical neuropraxia at Smackdown's taping on Tuesday night in Providence, Rhode Island. Orton worked a TV match with Alberto Del Rio and worked a six-man tag in the dark match main event. There was no injury angle done.

Obviously I have no idea how serious the injury is, but at least Orton has a year to cash-in his MitB title shot. They could always have him drop the MitB a la Kennedy.

After looking up the 2nd word, he basically had a stinger more or less. If it were something more serious he probably wouldnt of worked the dark match.

It's kind of unusual for WWE to mention minor injuries, so I wonder if something is going to come of it. They may not have built at it tonight, but maybe they'll work it in on RAW.

He tweeted and said he's fine

DL, it's one thing to not like a wrestler's character and/or move style. It's another thing to want someone to be injured enough to not be able to work.

That's not what I mean.If he had a serious injurie like a torn acl I wouldn't be shouting for joy because he can't wrestle anymore.I didn't mean to be happy because he was hurt.
