| USA Today has helped announce that the NCAA has given notice to EA that it will not be renewing its contract with EA. The contract is set to expire at the end of June in 2014.
"In a statement, the association said that because of 'the current business climate and costs of litigation, we determined participating in this game is not in the best interests of the NCAA.' The NCAA and EA are co-defendants in an anti-trust suit concerning the use of college athletes' names and likenesses that is pending before a federal district court. EA is the defendant in two other cases pertaining to the use of athletes' likenesses that have reached the federal appellate level."
The timing seems terrible as the newest title was just released eight days ago. Read more at http://www.411mania.com/games/news/291023#peDcgRmR2Bx5D4hJ.99 | |

| So a company that takes advantage of the likeness of non-paid collegiate athletes drops the worst company in America? Seems like a relationship made in Heaven. | |
