Lita/Victoria Steel Cage Match Announced For ‘Raw 20th Anniversary Collection’ DVD Set!

A historic Divas match is making its way onto the WWE’s Raw 20th Anniversary Collection DVD set.

The official synopsis for the box set, revealed by WrestlingDVDNews.com, lists the Steel Cage match between Lita and Victoria alongside matches featuring The Rock, The Undertaker and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.

The match is historic for being the first – and so far only – Steel Cage match between Divas.

The set will spotlight the 20 greatest episodes in Raw’s history, including the November 24th, 2003 episode that featured Lita and Victoria’s match.

"The 20 Greatest Episodes Uncut Unedited. WWE presents the Raw 20th Anniversary Collection, a 12 DVD set packaged in a deluxe digipak. Includes 20 of the greatest episodes in full on DVD for the first time. Featuring classic matches and moments including Lita vs. Victoria in a Steel Cage Match, Undertaker, Triple H & Shane McMahon vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock & Mr McMahon with Special Guest Referee Shawn Michaels, The Rock vs. Mankind in a No Disqualifications Match for the WWE Championship, Rob Van Dam vs. Santino, CM Punk vs. Matt Hardy and much much more.

The full match list for the box set hasn’t been revealed yet, but given that the set will feature 20 episodes, there’s a good chance that there will be a few more Divas matches in there somewhere."

What other divas matches do think the DVD set should feature?

Well if they're doing the 20 best episodes, I don't think any divas match made an episode propel to the top 20. So the top 20 will probably be based on activity outside of the divas matches, and whatever divas match happened to take place on the episodes will be the ones included.

While Lita/Victoria was probably a good match (on a Divas scale) it was probably included moreso for that Raw Roulette episode rather than the merit of 1st women's cage match.

That is true.

I don't really remember that Raw Roulette from 2003 other than for this awesome match.

With any luck some of the diva matches that are on memorable Raw episodes are also good.

It doesn't seem that great other than it being the first Raw Roulette.

And I guess that Raw had two diva matches since Trish beat Jackie Gayda in a bra and panties match.

TBH the only reason why this match is so memorable is because it was a steel cage match the action itself wasn't memorable at all.
