Do you want a tired Batman? A weary Caped Crusader who is seasoned and has been fighting crime for some time? Well, then you're in luck!
Ben Affleck’s Batman will be exactly that: “tired and weary and seasoned and been doing it for awhile." At least, that's what Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara said today at "an investor gathering." And he would know. The exec also said that he thinks Affleck is "perfect" for Man of Steel 2/Batman Vs. Superman. “We think it’s going to be huge,” he said of the sequel.
Regarding the first Man of Steel's box office take of $660 million worldwide, Tsujihara added that "it’s the perfect springboard for Batman and Superman.” He also said that there will be a lot of announcements "coming out [of] the DC Comics unit of Warner Bros.," though it's unclear if he meant announcements regarding film, TV, comics -- or all of the above.
